We didn't hit, we didn't shoot, and we didn't drive to the net.
Here's to Game 6

I just want Hughson and Simpson to shut their faces, these fairweather Canuck fans to shut their faces, and for us to wipe those smirks off of the Sedins faces. please and thank you.
crazy how my hate was completely reinvigorated in one period.
that's why you don't want to give a slimy team any life.

After 22 years, I still remember it like yesterday!

This team responded well after game 2, and we have no right to question the heart and resiliency of this Calgary Flames team after all they have accomplished this season. Try to enjoy the ride without this unnecessary negativity.

Good memories. That Flyers series was fantastic.

Wasn't that Arturs Irbe time? I vaguely remember some BS goaltending.

According to war-on-ice.com, 12 of the Canucks shots on net tonight were from the perimeter, while 8 of the Flames shots were from the perimeter. Canucks had a lot of quality chances tonight. Hiller stood on his head, probably his best game of the series.

Had we got the second goal instead of the Nucks we might have won. Still we can't expect to defend leads and come away with a victory. The pushback after the Nucks tied the game wasn't there and that to me was the difference..

Dont understand the doom and gloom. This was more about how ell the canucks played than anything.
This is the playoffs. There are no slouches. The canucks are here because they are a good team. Tonight they played desperate, like they should have. We had our chances. We had trouble clearing the zone, not because we suck, but because their forcheck was really good.
A post here, a post there. A misstep here, a misstep there. This was always going to be a long series. Tonight still could have gone either way.
To me if I had to single out a difference, the battle of the top lines is clearly in the Canucks favour. Hudler was invisible and Monahan is treading water. Johnny is the only guy pushing.
Game 6 at home, with a chance to clinch. Who wouldn't want that?

That was not the Canucks at their absolute best. Not even close. If they play like that the Flames will win game 6. I think both teams play better in game 6.

Yeah, play Wotherspoon more. Get his legs in the game.
I bet Hudler is already putting in an heroic effort. You can just tell with all the shots that he isn't taking, because his hands can't put enough power into it.

It doesn't matter if game six is in Calgary, if the Flames play protect the lead, fancy passing the puck, or are that easily knocked off the puck everyone is going to be sweating their pants going into Rogers Arena for game seven. This isnt the Flames of 1994 or 2006 but game six won't be won by fans cheering it will be won by playing smart hockey. Good teams win on the road, Im hoping the boys play with alot more urgencyon Game six then tonight.
