I truly didn't expect them to win. Canucks played desperate and the Flames played scared.

Two thirds of the top line appear injured and one is trying too hard.
Not sure why Ferland hardly played. Took a knock perhaps?

Whatever. It's one game.

I'm certain that the Flames bounce back next game. I fully expect them to finish it at the dome,

Keep the faith people.

Ice is bad because this is the beginning of Concert season for Rogers arena. Every day since the beginning of the series there is concerts booked when Canucks are away.

Hartley's had a great series overall, but had a rough night tonight. The fact that he didn't send the Backlund line out as the #1 PP unit -- even though Monahan and Hudler are obviously seriously hurt and even Johnny was having an awful game -- was inexplicable.

You also have to wonder if all the ice time is catching up to Wideman -- he had less than nothing tonight.

Really comes down to game 6. If they lose in front of the C of Red it's over.

That's all I could see...the Canucks are soft and the Flames let them run around...played right to their game.

They should have been hitting everything that moved

Positive I guess is that the owners get the revenue of another home game I guess.

Expected us to lose this one. The youngsters now know how hard it is to win the elimination game. We will take granted of home ice and win in front of the fans

Outside of not getting the puck to the net more, and the first line outside of JG looking poor. A couple posts from the Flames could've changed that.

Lucky bounce by the Canucks on the GWG, but hardly a superior effort, I think the Canucks looked better in Game 2,and of the Flames would've tied it at any point, that team would've folded.

This all comes down to Derek Wills forgetting to bring that $5 bill he found the day we clinched against Los Angeles!! He'd better have that damn bill in his pocket on Saturday night!!!

I don't know if I believe those shots whatsoever. Really seems like a case of trigger finger shot counts for the home side. I thought the boys had some jump, but the offensive zone play was atrocious. Couldn't make a pass, got out manned on their PPs, trying to get too fancy. Let's finish this one off at home.

Tonight wasn't a great night. Feels like the top line can't get much going without getting a favourable line matchup. For the first time in the series, the Flames' inexperience seemed to show. They need to take the learning experience and take it into the 'Dome and finish them off. Backlund was an absolute beast tonight

Game 71 against LA was basically a game 6 for the Flames, and the guys came out and played their best game of the season that night. We'll be fine.

No killer instinct tonight, had them on the ropes after the early goal and then took their foot off the pedal.

First line better wake up because they look like nothing compared to the regular season.
