Great to hear Ferland's mom is coming down for game 4. Too bad his sister couldn't make it either, as she also had to work at one point to support his blossoming hockey career.
I wonder if she can't due to a matter of funds $$$. I would imagine some fans could put their wallets together to get her some basic Manitoba-Calgary roadtripping money.

I'm surprised we didn't get to see live shots of Lack's dad at home during Sunday's game...

I'm thinking the Flames team and coaches were having a good laugh at Bieksa's expense this whole time.

The bigger worry is that Ferland tries to do even more than he is, and starts crossing the line.

I kind of expect Ferland to tone it down a notch next game, think the coaching staff will worry he will be targeted by the refs if he goes out and hits everything that moves again.
You can be certain that the Canucks complained that he was charging and hitting guys late and the refs will be on notice.
What they need him to do is troll a little more this game. Make sure he is on the edge of the crease every shift, and let the Canucks d-men take stupid penalties while trying to get at him.

Isn't it true that NHL players don't get paid by the team during the playoffs? Their salary is only for the regular season if I recall correctly. If this is true does it mean someone called up from the minors for the playoffs would be working for free?

If I'm remembering correctly here it was assistant GM Brad Pascall's idea. Conroy mentioned it during an interview earlier in the season.
