I expect the Saddledome to be deafening on Sunday. For the whole 60min.

Instead of looking for physical revenge, we should play a full 60min and completely dominate them. Transfer the rage and adrenaline into hockey and score 10 goals on "the Legend".

Playing Big Ern would be really really stupid. So many options that could contribute more to this series than him, and I love the guy. Add the fact Adirondacks season doesn't end till Sunday night so they aren't even able to call him up till after that anyways and this whole conversation becomes pretty much finished. He can't play in game 3 so he won't.

That's far from the issue being discussed. Hamhuis 3rd man in and Richardson's punching of a defenseless player are things no Flame did tonight

Great learning game for the Flames tonight.

They had an awesome regular season, but this is the playoffs: you need to fight to win. Better they learn that now so we can see what they're made of and what adjustments need to be made to make them a champion calibre team.

I'd like to see Gaudreau dropped off the first line and paired with Bennett to spread out scoring. The Canucks are treating the Flames like a one line team and it's working.

Also, time for McGrattan.

On thevwhole though, not too disappointed. This was a great teaching moment.

No they can't. Can only call up 4 players after trade deadline, unless it's an emergency recall. Would mean 3 players would have to be too injured or suspended to play on Sunday to call him up, since wotherspoon and shore are both healthy scratches right now.

Complete disgrace from the refs.

I have never posted negative comments about the refs before.

I see Stajan getting dummied and I see "an official" watching from the corner. Not only did the "referees" lose control, but the linesmen lost perspective of the players' safety. How can "officials" lose sight of where they need to be to keep people safe?

I can almost understand pulling Bollig and Ferland if they think those guys are fueling the altercation, but how is it that the 2 other "officials" can't see the need to help Stajan, clearly being dummied, and Engelland getting 2-on-1ed?

To make it worse is to see the official scoresheet!

Obviously they weren't paying attention to Engelland, yet somehow they found 3 GAMEMISSCONDUCTS?!?!?!
