Thanks, I honestly didn't even remember that it was the game winning shot until InCoGnEtO pointed it out. I do remember fumbling my camera in excitement trying to get a shot of the celebration but only got them celebrating by the bench.

its funny to me Canucks fans seem to think Calgary had some great game and the Canucks just need to be better...Flames didn't play all that well to be honest

Flames offence played about 50% to its potential imo. transition game was bad the first 40 and we didnt move up ice with speed. defensively though I thought we were textbook. Canucks had zone time just like many opponents this year, yet everything was blocked, kept to the outside or from bad angles.

Watched the third period again because it was awesome. There was no offside on any of the goals. The tears must've blurred their vision. Rewound both goals multiple times and there was no offside, or even close to it anywhere. Jones definitely knocked the puck down, but it was inconsequential. The puck was bouncing to an empty corner and the canucks regained the puck after anyways, so I'm not sure how it's relevant

I thought it was coming from the stands myself, but if there was a player involved, I'd assume it was Wideman. Probably yelling at Ramo.

Funny thing is, I can't recall the last time a slap pass actually resulted in a goal.

My guess would be a player and a ref are in that exchange.
If you watch any videos where the refs or players have a mic, refs can be mean as #### out there.

Most fans are completely unaware about just how much interaction there is between the refs and players, leading to a lot of complaints about inconsistent officiating where in reality it's quite fair. If a ref calls a penalty for what looks like a light hook or slash after letting that same stuff go, it's likely because he warned the player to knock it off or he'll give him 2 minutes
I wish someone would make an HBO-like behind the scenes show about the refs, it would be a fascinating watch IMO

The fact that Hughson was able to hear and respond to it though would imply that it was in the stands rather than the ice. Unless the pbp and colour commentary people are listening to the on ice mic's. That would seem to be a bit unnescessary though imo
