Both feeds are available live. I tested both during the game last night. Home feed is CBC away feed is USA network.

Could also be some impact from the home team there.

Not hard to be more jazzed up with the building just erupted.

Last night's win snapped a 6-game road playoff losing streak and was the first road playoff win in over 7 years (April 9, 2008).
nm, could have sworn they lost game 1 against San Jose

I think the funniest news to me is hearing how the Nucks fans keep throwing out these ridiculous shot stats regarding the Sedins.

'We outshot you 18 to 3 when the Sedins were on so we just need to play them more'

Well apparently Willie wants to keep them fresh and seeing that they had the favourable matchups and more PP time I think that's going to be even harder for them once we start getting home ice advantage going forward but I think a bigger concern for them is that they got outshot 27 - 12 when the Sedins weren't on the ice which leads me to beleive that outside of their top line they don't match up well against our younger, faster, grittier line-up. All this while our top line was relatively quiet last night, keep it up boys!!

I can't wait to see the Ferland/Stajan/Jones line go head-to-head against the Sedins when Hartley gets to decide matchups in the Dome, Ferly running into the Twins for 15 minutes while Stajan owns Henrick in the faceoff circle will be perfect.

Willie should rest them for game 2 so they will still be fresh in game 8.

That statement is beyond ridiculous. Its the playoffs, you should be playing each shift like its your last. Was it Hrudey that mentioned no Flame took a shift longer then 40 seconds in the 3rd. They just kept rolling the lines pushing the pace.

Ferland/Stajan/Jones is not a great line on the stats sheet, but man - youthful vigour plus veteran poise plus big body net driver who likes to shoot, all of whom have offensive upside and decent wheels (and Stajan is great defensively and in the circle). The third line may be the secret weapon.

The Canucks may well get the Sedins up to 20 m per game, but that's still only 1/3 of the clock. I prefer the Flames 2-3 lines and the 4th was OK as well. And the top line can only get better.

It's so hard not to troll the Canucks board with: "The Flames do not have their best player, the best energy forward is out, the top centre was sick and his RW wasn't good, they played a bottom pair D consisting of an AHL callup and a waiver wire pickup, they dressed 5 rookies (one of whom had 1 NHL game) and two sophomores. And they won".

Well then, nevermind.
Silly me... Mentally connecting out shooting to actual shots on goal.
I should have known better...

Anyone get a flash back from 04 when Sopel was scared going into the corners because he kept getting pasted. After game one Webber seems to have the Ferland radar working overtime.

Sad Hughson is good Hughson.

Sam Bennett reminds me of a young Jeremy Roenick.

THIS!

The Sedins are the ones who do it the most. One passes it off to his brother, the brother without the puck heads straight to the defending player, interferes, then peels off to a scoring position which gives the brother with the puck tons of room to make the pass.

It drives me ####ing mad!

Pick and roll. Oldest trick in the book.
