Everyone must mentally prepare themselves for endless amounts of whining from the Vancouver media, fans, and just people in Vancouver in general.
No doubt. Prepare for a lot of context-free comparisons as to penalties called - "CANUCKS GOT 5 PENALTIES IN THAT GAME TO 2 FOR FLAMES; OBVIOUS OFFICIATING BIAS". Which is my least favourite way of blaming the refs; an uneven penalty distribution is evidence FOR impartiality, not against it.
To be fair, though, I also expect that any time any Vancouver player falls down - be it a trip, stepping on the puck, or having his kneecaps smashed in with a baseball bat somehow, it will immediately be declared an obvious dive by everyone in a red jersey.

Higgins always seems to play well against the Flames. I'll take the Flames chances matching top lines against the Canucks, but I hope we can shut down Vancouver's second line.

One of the big reason's I'm so down that we don't have Bouma. Boums would be the perfect guy in my opinion to harass a guy who is playing hot.
I know what the reference is to. The point of the reference is to call the Sedins girls, thereby implying they are inferior.
Is it? Is it implying that females are inferior, or is it implying that a couple of women out on a hockey rink full of men may not do all that well at the physical side of the game which, for the record, I don't think is an unreasonable assumption. Get off all this political correctness horse&^%$! Goodness.

You know at some point in this series that pos Burrows is going to take a cheap shot at Johnny. I hope Ferly or Bollig is ready to tune him up when he does.

Yes it is. It's no different than saying throwing like a girl or hitting like a girl. It's become a negative way to describe men viewed as being lesser than other men.

I'm now going with the Flames in 4 games. I have tickets to game 4 and it will be a dream come true to watch the flames eliminate the Canucks live in the Dome.
