Unfortunately the flames are being picked by everyone except Scott Cullen. Heck allot on the Vancouver media are picking the flames!

As for a bonus for the flames, Richardson will be only at 75% I think and Hartley should try to exploit that.

I'm an objective Canuck fan as d I try to be an objective hockey fan.

Listening to 1060 out of Vancouver a bit this morning... Seems that the concenus from there is Canucks in 5, should be an easy series for them to win.

No doubt. Prepare for a lot of context-free comparisons as to penalties called - "CANUCKS GOT 5 PENALTIES IN THAT GAME TO 2 FOR FLAMES; OBVIOUS OFFICIATING BIAS". Which is my least favourite way of blaming the refs; an uneven penalty distribution is evidence FOR impartiality, not against it.

To be fair, though, I also expect that any time any Vancouver player falls down - be it a trip, stepping on the puck, or having his kneecaps smashed in with a baseball bat somehow, it will immediately be declared an obvious dive by everyone in a red jersey.

good. they should absolutely be favoured in this series, and should really get nervous should they lose any games.

i find it brutal how many seats are still readily available for wednesday's game at GM place, like not just singles, but 4-5 tickets in a row free.

Higgins always seems to play well against the Flames. I'll take the Flames chances matching top lines against the Canucks, but I hope we can shut down Vancouver's second line.

One of the big reason's I'm so down that we don't have Bouma. Boums would be the perfect guy in my opinion to harass a guy who is playing hot.

Again, I'm holding out hope he'll be back.

The Sedins are the ones that always have a ton of success against the Flames.

In my opinion the Flames focus should be squarely on shutting down the Sedins.

I don't know what their career point total against the Flames is but its a lot.

Is it? Is it implying that females are inferior, or is it implying that a couple of women out on a hockey rink full of men may not do all that well at the physical side of the game which, for the record, I don't think is an unreasonable assumption. Get off all this political correctness horse&^%$! Goodness.

I would expect that yes, there will be pregame festivities. They always have done that in the past for playoff games.

They are so mentally fragile, a loss or two and the Flames will be golden.

We should start a fight right off the faceoff in game 1. Line up Bollig - Wolf - Ferland with Engelland - Potter and just start beating the Sedins up

No one other than Ian McIntyre of the province made a prediction and he picked flames in 7.

The radio media makes their picks tomorrow.

You know at some point in this series that pos Burrows is going to take a cheap shot at Johnny. I hope Ferly or Bollig is ready to tune him up when he does.

Yes it is. It's no different than saying throwing like a girl or hitting like a girl. It's become a negative way to describe men viewed as being lesser than other men.

I'm now going with the Flames in 4 games. I have tickets to game 4 and it will be a dream come true to watch the flames eliminate the Canucks live in the Dome.
