I asked my parents to try to get me tickets while I was at work. I forgot to tell them to put a cap on the price. Looks like I'm going to games 1 & 2 in $250 seats.

Vancouver has a better record but we have the better team.

I found the tickets were really cheap!

I paid $175 for row 11 of the lower bowl? That's nuts!

Does anyone know when the dates will be released?

Seriously. They claim to have good fans?

If they can't sell out a playoff game and I'm stuck with 3 extra sets of tickets to the other games I'm going to snap.

I sincerely doubt it. We'll get a national team. Either Hughson and Simpson or Rominuk and who ever goes with Rominuk.

There's more Canadian teams than there are national broadcast teams, so some are going to end up with regional guys. Though given this is two Canadian teams, we are probably going to end up with Hughson's homerism.

Would you prefer 4 - 7 games of Hughson or 2 - 4 games of Garrett?

Pick your poison.

Honestly as unbelievably pumped as I am for this series I'm kind of annoyed with the matchup at the same time as it's going to be impossible to have an actual hockey conversation about it, I know everyone hates the enemy but the level of discourse doesn't have to be that low.
MOD EDIT: Removed, please stop.

I am out of the Thanks for some reason, so I will just mention that I am happy to see the fanbase turning away from things like using the 'Sedin Sisters' etc. I have been guilty too, as I do not honestly think I can say 'Sydney Crosby' naturally without starting to say 'Cindy Crysbaby'. Incremental positive changes!

Every time a Flames fan says 'Sedin Sisters' it reflects poorly on the Flaming C.

Also, Vancouver is a garbage city and their citizens are all ugly smelly jerks. GO FLAMES GO!

John Shorthouse will be doing radio play by play duties on TSN 1040. My contacts have told me that and it was also mentioned on the post game show last night.

He's also not followed by any media guys. He's barely followed by multiple guys. He has three followers. One hasn't tweeted ever; one is a bot; one is an artist that's tweeted twice this year.

Who are some good Flames people to follow on Twitter? I don't care what type they are, they could be the biggest Flames homers or they could fans who will admit a team is better.

I really, really hope we don't get Hugheson for our series. Ugh I just think he's the worst Canucks homer and most annoying PBP.

If I was a betting man I would bet small amounts of money that we will be getting Hughson and Simspon.

Also I do hope Rogers puts games on CBC, CityTV, sportsnet, sn1 and sn360.

Not exactly grizzled veterans but I wonder much more this means to Gio and Backlund since they're the only remaining members of the Flames since 2009.

These teams matchup pretty well, I bet it goes 7 again, as all our series against Vancouver seem too.

Cept the very first one?

We are 3-1 against Vancouver in playoff matchups.

4-1 after this year.
