Why wouldn't the Flames take it seriously, they got bombed in the last game, they know what the playoff situation is, they've been pretty good at bouncing back with strong efforts.

I just really want to see a Gaudreau Monahan Hudler vs Hall, RNH, Eberle matchup, because Edmonton doesn't have a good checking line to respond with.

Slap a bushy mustache on Kylington and he looks sort of like the cop in the window.

If we can get the first goal we'll be fine. Edmonton folds like a cheap tent once they allow the first goal.

Honestly, the only way the Flames lose this game is if they don't show up. And I don't see that happening considering how important these 2 points are. Hartley and the coaching staff will have these guys ready to play. Glad to see Ramo starting. At least we won't have a softie in the back of our net before the 1 minute mark.

As for Bennett, I don't see how they could possibly sit him. He adds an offensive spark that this team desperately needs heading into these final 4 games, as our 2nd and 3rd lines have been ice cold lately. He could be the shot of adrenalin that those lines need to get going.

Could run into a hot goalie.

Flames have a 1-0-0 record when I eat lasagna and watch the game at work. Let's keep this remarkable streak alive!

Agreed, but to be fair, Hiller was fantastic in the third period of the Dallas game and the St. Louis game and gave us a chance to win.

I'm comfortable with either goalie playing on any night.

Just my personal opinion but Ramo should be starting. Hiller scares me, he flops on his face a lot and makes boneheaded mistakes. Ramo is no Vezna candidate but I don't get the same anxious feeling as I do watching Hiller perform his swimming routines.

Intriguing you chose to call Hiller the flopper or swimmer over Ramo. Should be reversed. Ramo slides out of position far more than Hiller.

This may just be my own (extremely) limited knowledge of goaltending, but I would have diagnosed this differently. To me, Ramo is the one more commonly out of position and swimming around the crease. He looks to be very aggressive with big lateral moves, making him more likely to make one of those unbelievable saves like the one in the Ranger game at MSG.

Hiller looks to be quieter with his movement, but obviously prone to the softie goal that has everyone scratching their heads.

For what its worth, I like the call to start Ramo. I was at the Dallas game and while he had a great third period, Hiller didn't instill much confidence through the first 40.

Sorry to sidetrack...
