I disagree on the effort. We are being beat buy a bigger and better skilled team in the Wild. The top minutes played by Russell, Wideman and Brodie is starting to show how tired they are.

Hillers on the downslide of his career. He is not going to get better. He would still be a Duck if he was the same player.

No doubt about that. The Flames time in the Min zone has minimal.

I don't know if I could handle both of my teams (Flames and Panthers) being 9th this year. Far too much fun and hope dashed. It's making me not want to watch hockey for a long time.

Ramo has shown he is better than Hiller when it really counts. There's a reason why the Ducks let Hiller go.

This team can beat LA tomorrow, especially with them so close to the Hawks they will be more motivated than LA's last few opponents

I'm frustrated, but I still can't question this team's effort. They're battling, they're just not winning.
|
Totally agree.....they look tired and the effects of poor possession numbers the entire season is finally catching up to them. Flames have been very opportunistic on their chances this season and its a tight rope they're walking.
I really hope it's the type of players Hartley has that doesn't allow him to play a more possession style game and that next year with some more injection of youth and skill things can start to change.

Maybe true, but Hiller's been pretty solid for the Flames this year too.
Stay Golden's comment is the epitome of irrational, ill-timed hate bubbling to the surface. Ramo has been spectacular this evening, and if the Flames somehow comeback yet again I expect he's wearing the fireman's helmet in the post-game.
