I disagree.

The effort is there. It always is. We play a very specific style of game that lends itself to our exciting wins, and our frustrating losses. Sadly, when you let the opposition control the puck this much (by design), games like this are bound to happen.

I'm frustrated, but I still can't question this team's effort. They're battling, they're just not winning.

Wild are playing like a real playoff team.

Plain and simple.

The Wild are playing fantastic. Not trying to take anything away from them, but I don't care if we're playing the Wild, the Rangers, or the Sabres. This effort tonight is simply unacceptable and extremely disappointing.

Well we just have to hope that the Wild decide to play hockey against the Kings tomorrow or the Jets go on a big losing streak, it's getting scarier and less doable now...

Guess were Wild fans now. Were no longer racing them. They beat LA tomorrow and it's ok again.

Down 2 goals in the third?

Flames have them exactly where they want them.

This is good experience for the younger guys regardless - playoff hockey is no more intense than most of this game has been, and Minnesota has plenty of top notch players. Should give the Flames some hunger and an idea of how much they have to step up if they're going to compete in the big show.

This is all part of the story of this year. The flames will come back over the last few games once everyone has written them off.

LMAO. You mean this 6th ranked offense in the entire NHL?

Hey, if you're going to be a Debbie Downer, at least be an accurate one ok?

They are simply cracking under the pressure, you can see they are tight. Such a good experience though for them to play these meaningful games regardless.

Feels like it's Lipton Ice Tea time though.

This could be it boys. If we fall back 3pts to Jets/Kings with 7 games to go, that may be insurmountable, the way they're rolling

You are god damn crazy if you think A) Anygoalie would have stopped that and B) If Ramo deserves ANY blame for this game.

The Flames team defense SUCKS, especially the offensive players.

How anyone faults Ramo tonight is beyond me... Without his stellar play in the first two periods, we're probably down by at least five at this point.

Don't give me the "they didn't want it bad enough". What the Flames don't want it? Everyone wants it. The Wild just do the right things and have the guys to take away our best. We don't have a Parise. We don't have a Suter. It's year 2 of a rebuild. The fact we are where we are is amazing and fun but this game is pretty telling
