That blueline is really good with the emergence of Klingberg now to go with Daley (out tonight), Goligoski, Demers, etc.
And the forward group is STACKED.

I don't really get why they are where they are in the standings.
their goal tending was bad at the start of the year and their OT record is bad...its a fine line but they are a good team

Oh the roller coaster of a good old playoff push. How I have missed you, my heart however could do without.

Do you think the teams should still play the games and finish the season? Or will they see the strength of your "logic" and call it an early night?

They are still in a playoff spot and still control their own destiny. You should try a little less heart on your sleeve and a little more brain in your head. Whether they make it or not your constant negativity and hyperbole needs to calm down.

2-0-2 in this seven-game set so far.

Bi-polar CP needs to take it easy.

Kill Minnesota on Friday.

If LA loses tomorrow this 1 point will be huge.

Come on Islanders! Pretty please...

A lot of people are also forgetting that we essentially have a 2 point lead on LA as of right now.

We still have the tie breaker.

I hate the shootout.

Need the Islanders to come up big tomorrow.

I'm actually surprised at the level of rationality here right now, so that's good.

Flames need to play better hockey for sixty minutes, for sure, but still positioned to make the playoffs, so move on to Minny. As someone posted above, maybe the team will feed off of playing against playoff-bound teams for a change.

And also instead of thinking that losing the point tonight killed our chances, it could very well, just as easily, be the point that gets us in the playoffs.

Raymond needs to sit out at this point, bring back Ferland.

i thought Colbourne, Granlund line was good. Bouma was the goat on the 3rd Dallas goal but he was a warrior and he tried hard.

Refs were brutal.

Now I missed Byron.

I think you're misunderstanding his point.
I took it as "were out, but are now in"

They're gaining on us hard with the ROWs. Only 2 behind right now with the big head-to-head on game 81. Their win over the Rangers really hurts but if the Isle can even things up for us it'll make all the difference. A regulation win for the Isle, or if the Kings really, really have to win let it be in a shootout.

That was an exciting Overtime. A lot of open ices and I can't wait for the 3 on 3 next season. I am not saying I don't like the shootout but I really want to see an exciting finish and decided by the players not just by the goaltender. I can't really fault Ramo on the shootout lost though. I thought he played a heck of a game tonight.

Flames got trapped in playing Dallas style of game on the first period in a half. They were chasing Dallas players instead of hard forechecking like they always do. When they started skating that's when they outplayed Dallas. That Dallas team is one fast and talented team. Makes you wonder how come they are so far behind in the playoff race. I guess that Seguin injury really hurt them this season.

I just love that the Flames did not give up on the game after going behind 2-0. We are still ahead of LA by 1 point and Jets are just 1 point ahead. I am not happy with the lost but at least the Flames still got a point on this game so I am not way too upset. They definitely need to win against Minnesota next game.

Except they have injury issues and their next 3 are Montreal, Chicago, and the Rangers. I think they lose all 3.
what about Flames road trip?
