I think Wideman also really appreciated getting the A.

Wideman is a feel good story this year. Went from CP whipping boy being sat in the pressbox to one of our best defenceman and earning the A.

Urban Dictionary definition of a Dirty Schlemko...

Pulling a move so outrageous and unexpected she doesn't even mind.

"So we were having sex in his car and he Dirty Schlemkoed me. I ain't even mad...."

Bouma was such a beast last night.

During Calgary's time out, he was on the bench with the default scowl on his face, an ice pack on his arm, and Black Betty was blaring on the sound system. It was just one of those perfect shots of a perfect moment in time.

So happy with Bouma's development.

haha, just heard Loubardias and Derek Wills calling the shootout last night, it was great. Not quite the "Yeah Baby" but still pretty good.

I love the excitement this team brings about. That was a fun win last night.

It's official in the sense that it is the highest on record since they began tracking shot blocks. Do not ask me when that dates back to though. I have no clue. If goes back beyond the Early Pronger and Scott Stevens days, thats impressive.

I thought Schlemko's interview was controversial? I didn't see anything offensive.

Yeah, I get that it is the most since they started recording, but I was just wondering if "shots blocked" is something the NHL started keeping an official record on now.

Wikipedia's NHL Records page doesn't have an entry for "blocked shots", but Wikipedia isn't always 100% accurate either.

He was explaining his thought process and said "so I just thought f### it, might as well."

or something like that.

Thats not really controversial, just not very well thought out.

Dont swear on TV right after pulling a Dirty Schlemko.

reading bruins fan reactions to this game is hilarious. are they completely blind as to how goonish their team is? the reason you guys get penalized so much isn't because the league hates you, its cuz you are a bunch of dirty players
