“@RogMillions: Someone yells from #Flames dressing room at games end "call the cops!" Yes they stole one.”

Zidlicky had a full NTC. He got to choose where he wanted to go.
Well, that and the inner-city kittens of Detroit needed more assistance due to their ongoing economic crisis and bankruptcy, more than the bustling city of Calgary do, even with the current drop in oil prices...

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
Another game I attended that they actually won! Thought flames were way better first and second periods and thoroughly dominated in the third. Not stolen.

If Engelland can play that way 80% of the time I'll feel a lot better about our back end going down the stretch.
I think he's discovered a second wind. He'll have to play lots of minutes anyways for the rest of the year so hopefully that builds his confidence and skills.

Might benefit from a separate thread, but I'm really starting to think about Ramo's future in Calgary. There wasn't much discussion about him prior to the deadline even though he is a UFA. I also don't think that it was because of Ortio's injury that they decided to keep him either. I think those two things are exclusive.
I'm wondering if they may be mulling over whether to sign Ramo to a new deal and make Hiller available. I personally think Ramo is a better goalie, albeit streaky, but most goalies are. He's been playing amazingly in the last little while so clearly he has the skillset to be a number 1 goalie. The team seems calm in front of him which is not the sense I get when Hiller plays. Thoughts?
