No cause I try not to look too hard at a players salary. It's not his fault he signed it. Plus you can deal with that when it happens. Who knows what the salary cap would look like in 2020. He's still a good player and would make our top 4 look pretty good. Let the GM sort out how to bury that contract when it's time.

Is that fair for Buffalo? Meszaros really fits a positional need and the "cram the lanes" style of defense and Stewart fits the size and position need for the flames. Not sure Reinhart is what Buffalo needs?

if Phaneuf is utilized like Wideman is you will get better valuer for your dollar. The problem is is is not a #1 and should not be utilized as one but good second pairing

What's fair exactly? They're both UFA's in the summer.

This is just Buffalo getting something for them. They could see value in Reinhart on the bottom lines. A 4th has some value.
