You can't stand there as not only did he deflect the puck in he was in Hiller's way. Poor positioning.

Flames outplayed them, give the Wild D credit though they blocked a few sure goals.

Lots of shots just hit Dubnyk while he had no idea where the puck was. 2 points for being a big dude.

Being down 2-0 not too upset with an OTL. Johnny had a lot going tonight, just not a lot of luck - including banking in the OT winner.

Bad starts and terrible goals that have no business going in were bound to bite them in the ass eventually and tonight it did even though they got a point.

We had 19 scoring chances on 23 shots after 2 periods... definitely didn't fall asleep lol
Great game overall - Lance Bouma, my god what a player he's turned into the last 20 or so games!
Regroup and prepare for the best team in the division.

Personally, I don't think that last shift was awful. He made a play or two there. Just had some pretty bad positioning there, mixed with some bad luck.

A take back what I said a few weeks ago about Diaz being a bad choice on the PP. The more I watch the more I like his play. He gets shots to the net for rebounds and helps to create plays from the point.

I thought the Flames played great. Disappointed with the start and the end result, but definitely not disappointed with the overall effort.
Hard luck for Johnny at the end there. I thought he had his best game in a couple weeks.

Nope its fine. The Flames are amazing in the 3rd, so the 1st period doesnt really count.

An early whistle away from winning 3-2 in regulation.
Glad to get a point vs a hot tender.

When Dubnyk comes back down to Earth, that's not a playoff team.

I'm not trying to take a shot or anything, but can you honestly remember the last time you made a positive post about the Flames?
Maybe it's selective memory but every post I see from you is either;
a) predicting doom in eore-esque style, or;
b) confirming you doom predictions were accurate
I don't see a whole lot else from you.

On a sidenote Minny is really not that good.
How long can Dubnyk really keep them in the picture?
I'm betting not that long...

That is possibly the most unlucky game I've ever seen from one player. Johnny was fresh out of any luck tonight, kept bouncing over his stick or missing him by inches. His night summed up to me a poor play by him. Excellent back check, but he seemed to then switch off and stand is an area he shouldn't have been anywhere near. Feel for him, but hopefully he learns from that mistake.
We played well enough for most of that game(bar the first 10 minutes) to win it, really pleased with the effort and application. Carry those levels into the Anaheim game with the way they're playing and we have a good chance of beating them.

Dumba played the best game I've ever seen from him.
Johnny not only deflected that in, he was kinda pushing Hiller out of the crease and would have blocked him if the puck goes to someone on the back door. I've never seen Johnny play that position.
Overall, really good games from Bouma, 5 of 6 defencemen, Hudler, Johnny (ignoring the very last play) and Jones I thought. Glencross was way better than his last few. I thought on the other hand Raymond had his weakest game in the last stretch, and Hartley seemed to bench Stajan with Bollig. Colborne got little ice time as well.
The other guys were OK.
