So it appears Carr was only up due to the imminent birth of Thiessen's kid.

I am pumped that Kulak is back with Adirondack. He will add some much needed offense from back end.
I honestly still believe that he has the most potential out of any of our current defensive prospects (outside of maybe Hickey), he just needs some maturing to do in order to get there.
Hopefully Huska and co. utilize him to the fullest extent.

New lines: Van Brabant-Shore-Poirier, Baertschi-Granlund-Hathaway. Ferland Reinhart Hanowski Agostino Elson Tousignant Gillies all rotating
|
Crazy to think that our Farm team could dress a forward lineup that consists of:
Van Brabant-Shore -Poirier
Baertschi - Granlund- Setoguchi
Ferland-Reinhart-Hanowski
Agostino-Arnold- McGrattan
11/12 forwards would have already been in an NHL game (Poirier the only one yet to play in one) and you could realistically call up any forward and not be too concerned about how they would fit into the lineup.

#Flames prospect Ryan Culkin, 21, was slated for surgery today after cutting tendon in left wrist. Expected recovery time is 8-10 weeks.

Arnold back practicing
Diana C. Nearhos @dianacnearhos
I don't see Gillies on the ice. But Arnold is here for what I think is his first practice and Setoguchi is here again.

The 7 different goal scorers and 9 players with multi point nights is what impresses me most. That is some depth right there

It's like all the bad juju the Baby Flames have had against Utica all season was reversed and unleashed on Syracuse.
Is Garnet Hathaway is on an AHL only deal? He looks pretty great in those clips.

He was really good in both the development camp and training camp. I'm somewhat surprised that he isn't under a contract yet either.

Looks like they caught that on the second try posting it. They put up an updated one with 22 years.
Not surprised though, I'm not sure they have a proofreader sometimes with the amount of errors you can find on their articles.

I've loved watching Hathaway this season. He's such an a-hole on the ice when it matters, but won't often put his team in jeopardy. That's what I like about him. Not to mention his ability to dig out pucks and get them to either Granlund or Sven so they can work their magic.

I've been told that the big club really likes Hathaway. I'm thinking they take long looks at him and/or Taylor Vause for NHL deals for next year.

Check out my newest article ( http://flamesnation.ca/2015/2/17/don...n-turner-elson) on the man, the myth, the (current) legend: Turner "The Burner" Elson.

That infographic says its Ortio's 4th career shutout.. it was his fourth of the season... but still great..
Kind of upset at the slippage in the standings, what's the key factor to falling out of the playoffs?

The Utica Comets.
I'm half joking.
As cliche as this sounds, I think a lot of it has to do with the lack of sustained cohesion and chemistry between lines. It looks like there's something there between Granlund and Sven, but I'll wait it out a bit longer. Ferland's fallen off a cliff, but if anyone can help back up, it just might be Turner Elson (right now).

Reinhart has not played up to expectations either. He's improved a bunch over the last couple games, but he only has 14 pts in 42 games this season.
And Adirondack isn't the best for accurate info on players. Try to just ignore it. It will drive you to the brink of insanity. I've given up correcting them at this point, they don't seem to care

How do you explain Ferland's decline? Is it concussion related?
