if we make the playoffs im sure we will quickly be reminded - MUST GET BIGGER.

Which players on our team are considered big? Engelland, Bollig, Jones? We are going to need size.

Colborne is tall, and can get big.

Having Wolf and Hunter Smith coming up through the organization will help in that regard.

Chicago is one of the smallest teams in the league. Montreal is tiny.

I'm not sure size alone is a big issue.

If everything else is more or less equal, usually the bigger team will win the series. It is an advantage as you can just push players off the puck. It's not so much a big deal in terms of making the playoffs, but it makes a big difference if you want to go all the way.

Diaz, Byron, Glencross being replaced with bigger players is the most likely plan of attack . But who knows.

Wotherspoon getting a spot next year over Diaz is a 3 inch height gain and a 13 pound gain.

Byron, well almost anyone slotting in over him in a bottom six role would massive shift the height weight average for the team over all.

Like I keep telling my wife; It's not the size that matters, it's now you use it.

As they say in screenwriting school, ‘Show, don’t tell.’

If they use the same ruler that measures Johnny Gaudreau at 5'9", Monahan is probably 6'7" now.

They aren't our concern, either of them. Our main concern is keeping ahead of the Canucks and LA. If we stay the course and those 2 continue to self implode, it won't matter what the rest of the Central Division do, because we'll be in the play offs.

While the goal is to lock up a divisional playoff spot, the Jets most certainly are a concern of ours nonetheless.

Monahan looks like a legit 6'2, Glencross' height seems like someone fudging the numbers to get him over the six foot mark.

Poor Glencross. Now the guy doesn't even get credit for being 6'1". What next, Curtis? If that is your real name...

Could be his hunched over skating style that fools me, really seems to have the shoulders forward when he skates.
