As a long time supporter and fan of both Baertschi and Wotherspoon, I have to say that, without a doubt, I am far more excited to see the Wolf!
He totally deserves this call-up.
Would love to see all 3 of them in the lineup, but that's a lot of change and inexperience for one game. We shall see I guess.

From what I've read Wolf totally deserves it and his game sounds super exciting to watch, hopefully get a chance. I imagine we might wait a couple of games til he gets in.

I hope all three have a big impact and force some of our vets to the trade block. I hope Drury18 is on the money with Wolf. We could use a good poop disturber.

Let's all pray to the hockey gods that Wolf becomes our Johan Franzen. Remember that Franzen was 25 when the Red Wings drafted him in 2004, and didn't really start scoring at a big level in the NHL until he was 27/28. Unlikely, but hey no harm in hoping.

I don't know why but it isn't the same. I liked Capgeek more, and over the last decade it became second nature to go there as soon as the flames made a transaction of any type.

I really like that Treliving is so active with taking a look at our prospects so much. IMO he understands that we could move out a few people making room for prospects without really hurting our team.
I really want to see what Wolf can do if he gets into a game. We could be very active come this deadline as buyers and sellers for the bottom half of our roster.

I know he's on waivers, but what rumour is there that he is coming here, or that we even want him?

Anywho. Very excited to see Wotherspoon and Sven again, and interested to see what Wolf brings. Really hoping he adds the right amount of crazy to the line up, the thing we all thought Bollig was going to bring.

A bit of a head scratcher for me with Sven. I know he's played very well as of lately but I'm of the mindset that his long term success depended on sustained production in the AHL for the rest of this season. Kind of a small issue that his numbers dried up when Arnold went down.
Pumped to see what Wolf can do up against NHL'ers! Going to be an interesting introduction.
Please, for the love of all that is holy and good in the world, play Wotherspoon lots.

IIRC Sven is an RFA next year, and also I think we won't be able to send him down to the AHL without putting him on waivers first. Basically if we don't give Sven a chance now to show he can make the team next year, we have to either "gift" him an NHL roster spot next year, or let him go. If someone who knows more can comment on his contract situation, it'd be appreciated.

We're talking about three games here. I'd be more concerned if he was playing poorly than if he wasn't putting up numbers. Maybe someone who watches the games can give us some feedback on that.

Agreed. To me Arnold is a great complimentary center to just about any, just cause Sven's production has seemingly dried up (Not of that opinion) I think it has more to do with the players he's playing with, he's had shots on net in the past 2 games that I'm sure of and it's hard to pick-up assists if the guys you're with aren't burying it. This to me is a non-issue as I've heard he's playing a lot better since he returned to Addy earlier in the year compared to the start of thwe year.
