I have always thought +/- was a valuable stat. In some way it tends to reflect the general contribution from players, even if it doesn't tell the whole story.

I would also agree with the assessment the OP has made. I 100% agree that the bottom D pairing needs an upgrade. Raymond and Bollig are surplus to requirements, unless they can turn some corner and start to contribute soon.

I would be interested to see how third pairings on other teams measure up. Maybe more often than not the role of the third pairing is just to limit the damage than to actually be a positive.

Okay, so almost all of the top teams have 0 negative players in their top 6 by games played. Calgary also has such a massive difference from their top 2 versus bottom 2 compared to any other team.

Not sure how Detroit is so high up in the standings.

As per TapeToTape's post, the 36-point swing between Brodie (+23) and Engelland (-13) is the biggest gap in the entire league.
