Then with news of Gaudreau playing, I was.

Now I won't be. There's two eyeballs you've lost NHL. And like most of CP I'm part of the 1% (not really, but shh, they need not know).

So, Nick freakin Foligno is one of the captains, Johanssen magically won the shootout vote despite being way behind, a guy like Girgensons is on the team, some of the top stars in the game are pulling out of the weekend, but you're going to play one forward short and leave Johnny off the team.

Okay.

I have no idea what the perception or "fame" level of Johnny is outside of Calgary, but regardless of his play on the ice, people are always talking about him. Isn't he the perfect guy to take Crosby's place? He's already there.

This registers about a 3 on my give a crap o'meter, but it just makes this whole weekend even more of a farce.

I dont know about you guys but Johnny being annouced was like the cherry on top, Gio is the kind of player who could really be fun to watch in this type of game where the D will be encouraged to be creative. Still sucks though and I cant wait to see the reasoning.

And Drouin, Hoffman and Sekac. It is totally ridiculous that they would go one player short when four players are available. Especially since they drop shipped Forsberg and Ekblad in to fill two other holes.
