We randomly kill via drone thousands of people most of whom have done no more than be in the wrong place when a computer at the NSA decides that their phone traffic patterns makes them a possible terrorist.
In the overall who has the most bloodthirsty violent religion christian fundamentalism wins the body count hands down.

What a nauseating argument.

Can you be a little more specific? "Nauseating" is a strong word.

Those arguments disgust me. Particularly in a thread regarding the murder of innocent people due to their religion. That is enough detail to prevent this thread from derailing.
And I don't doubt for a second you know exactly why I posted that.
Apologists from the west and 'blame Jews' from the middle east - typical.

So I guess that's a "no, I can't be specific". Gotcha.

No, that is an attempt not to derail a thread. Go ahead and troll some more.

I think its fair to point out that christians aren't exactly innocent. Totally fair, and I would agree. But that doesn't mean we can't condemn people for using Islam as a backbone for their reasons to kill people.
I would actually be curious if there are estimates somewhere on the web as to how many people have been killed in the name of religion, broken down by specific denomination, going back centuries. Does anyone know of such a resource?
Edit - now what I wanted but interesting nonetheless -http://waitbutwhy.com/2013/08/the-death-toll-comparison-breakdown.html

What's so nauseating about it? You think the West doesn't have blood on it's hands? Are you under the impression that the invasion of Iraq was justified?

Yeah, Iraq has really flowered into a beacon of humanity, freedom, and tolerance since his death.

Because Iraq is so much better with him gone? As bad as he was, he was the only thing keeping that country stable, and the power vacuum that was created by removing him led directly to the formation of ISIS. Ask your average Iraqi who they'd rather live under and I wonder which one they'd choose

That's clearly not my point. My point is the fact that you think taking Saddam down was well-worth the effects on Iraq says a lot about your ignorance on the whole topic. Like Hemi-Cuda said, I guarantee most would agree that the country was more stable with Saddam at the helm. ISIS is what it is today because of the US minding everyone's business in the ME. Not to mention the US armed Saddam during the war with Iran, so it was their mess to clean and they sure f***ed up. It's too bad there are people like you who think that the invasion was a success all because Saddam's regime fell. Ignorance at it's finest.
