It's almost as frustrating as dealing with people who have reading comprehension issues. indeed.
Also, I am a female and that is a fact.
And again also, to the poor lad with the circumcised penis who has never had a woman told her she prefers uncircumcised.... Duh. What woman is going to say that to a partner? I don't even think I've told my husband who is circumcised because why would I do that?
I imagine that will change if/when we have a boy child.

I am surprised no one has chimed in with a comment about which head does the thinking in the human male.

That would be blatantly sexist and derogatory and thus goes directly against CP's new ethos.

I'm not talking about discussing it with partners, that's just awkward all over. But in group conversations where this has come up (usually drunk conversations) cut always wins out over uncut. And surveys seem to back that up
http://www.womenshealthmag.com/sex-a...ircumcised-men
Personally I don't think my life would be any different had my parents made a different choice, so I don't care one way or the other. And I think the recent uproar about circumcision is completely overblown and ridiculous

Circumcision is a cultural holdover (an outdated one in my view) that's created some aesthetic norms - more prevelant in say the US, almost non-existent in places like Europe with Canada somewhere in between and in pretty rapid decline.

Yep in the US its just tradition in most instances, and you can see right away who's circumcised by how defensive and far reaching their defense is for having it done...
Fine you did it, your father did, lets stop it at your baby boys. Its high time we stopped this practice because its just simply wrong to be doing this to babies, I know its not FGM but lets not kid ourselves its still unnecessary, possibly harmful and a lot of studies show you do lose sexual sensitivity as well, so there's that.
Women that say they prefer circumcised need to stop that as well, what you are effectively saying is to men out there that their next baby boy needs to be sliced up for aesthetic reasons.
Its just time to put this old barbaric practice into the history books.

You speak for "women". How about the vast majority of the world where its unlikely a woman will ever see a circumcised penis?
Its also really condescending to suggest that men can't clean their junk, or that men who are not circumcised are dirtier than those who are; any more than if I said the same about women who don't shave clean tend to be smellier than most, my experience so it must be true, since my sample size of women is under 20 its solid evidence I think.

Next study will say breathing causes cancer, or taking a dump increases your risk of diabetes. What a joke all these studies are.

I think if you re-read my posts, you'll understand that's not at all what I'm saying. I said they tend to be smellier. There's a tendancy for men to not shake properly and then what happens to that extra drop of pee each time you go???
I'm sorry if you took offense to my post but of my sample size, (which is bigger than yours, sorry,) roughly 1/2 of all men weren't 'clean'. Approximately 1/4 of the men were uncut. Of the 1/4 who were uncut, the half that were also dirtier, were the dirtiest.
It's not a matter of 'can't' clean their junk because at least half the men get it right. It's a matter of ensuring throughout the day that you shake properly as well.
Also, I am unoffended by your comments about women's vaginas. I also know that what I eat affects my taste/smell down there so it's best to watch my diet. I also know that at certain times in my cycle I smell/taste differently.
Also, it's true, women who don't shave are smellier. That's part of the purpose of the hair.
I never said I speak for all women. I said I am a woman and that's my experience.

Again, hygiene and simple washing before sex is nothing complicated, even IF we agree that men cut are cleanlier because its easier it still is frustrating to hear women comment in circumcision discussions about how they prefer something that involves slicing off a part of a baby boys penis. That has an effect on soon to be fathers who might consider that to be a case FOR circumcision, I know with some of my own friends who know I'm very much against the practice and who have talked to me about it a lot of the comments were their experience of how many said they preferred it cut, how it was an issue of cleanliness and that they didn't want their kid to be mocked for being different.
Sorry if I sound mean about it, its just you run into these comments all the time, we would never jump into a FGM discussion as say things that are positives of such a practice, yet we do it all the time with circumcision. I know they are not on the same level of course, one is much worse, but they are both bad and should be stopped.
Which is thankfully happening, but likely it will take longer for American's to catch on, they seem oddly proud of this fact that they are cut.

And I also said I preferred uncut. You just jumped on me because I mentioned it's hard to find an uncut and clean man. Which has two mitigating factors... there aren't many uncut men my age and if you do find one who's uncut, they might not also be clean.

To be fair, the study doesn't conclude anything, just notes a correlation (which of course, does not indicate causation). This of course means the media and hippies will start spewing it as gospel truth.

Let's remember it was reported by the Daily Mail.
