Some of this loss is on Hartley as well. Should have pulled Hiller, he was so awful You could tell his head wasn't in the game from the first goal on.

I wonder if McGratton not being there took the wind out of their sails a bit. That was some terrible hockey all the way around tonight.

Worst game I have seen in a long time.
We played awful and didn't deserve much better, but that last goal was complete BS. Easy to see it was touched with a high stick. NHL war-room useless.

And stuck a blind bat in the net?
edit: don't mean to come across like a prick, just frustrated with that game. The previous page has numerous posts mentioning that Ortio didnt have his contacts so couldn't play. They showed him on the bench near the end squinting just to watch the game.

Hiller's worst goal against shouldn't have counted and Florida had more quality chances
its not like the guy at the other end was any better is all I am saying

Ortio wasn't ready to play...crazy travel, not his regular gear, no contacts
if Ramo was on the bench Hiller would have been bounced

There's only one player that last this game. I never blame one player as it's a team game, but goalies can't let in three soft goals every game. That was awful. That 5th goal want even a shot on net

Good: Bouma, Backlund, Stajan, Colborne, maybe Jones
Meh: Hudler, Gaudreau, Monahan, Brodie (even with 2 goals) Gio, Byron (I know he didn't score, but he at least got the breakaway in the first place)
Invisible: Glencross, Raymond, Granlund
Bad: Hiller, Smid, Engelland, Wideman, Russell, the ice, Smith's makeup, the non-high stick call on the 5th goal

Hard to draw any conclusions from a game like this. Absolutely zero flow.

Like many have said they did score 5 fricken goals for him. I missed the first three but even with bad defense he should have been able to stop the last 3.

I agree it shouldn't have counted, but so far they gave the goal to Campbell, which implies the high stick didn't touch the puck (just clarifying in case people don't get that).

I didn't realize his contacts still didn't arrive. Also, it's idiotic of Ortio to not bring his contacts in his carry on. Good to see no-one is left out of this boneheaded loss.

It's Montoya. Even his regular play is a bad goaltender.

But Luongo wasn't playing... Making it a great opportunity to take at least a point against an eastern conference team when a 3 point game wouldn't make a difference. Like VanFlamesFan said, 5 goals should win a hockey game.
