I don't think a lot of people realize how big of an impact that win could have on the rest of the season.

To go into the break feeling good after an incredible comeback victory against the reigning Stanley Cup champs could really set the stage for a strong second half.

What a game by Gaudreau and Gio! Monahan looked great out there as well in my opinion.

That was one hell of a hockey game! Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

On that GIF of Gio's OT winner - watch for Hartley's reaction on the bench - priceless! Luv this team!

As much as the flames needed that win, I think CP needed it more. Reading the first half of GT posts was depressing.

Johnny has 3 more goals than the Oilers have wins.

I feel kind of bad for some of the game thread posters who swore off watching the team and didn't get to see that.

wow.

my gut told me the flames would pull this one out before the game started, i only started watching after the kings scored the 3rd goal in the second. as is usually the case, i just couldn't turn off the game, and after johnny scored the first one, and everythign this team has shown in 3rd periods, it is just impossible to turn off the game.

has a team ever scored 2 goals with a goalie pulled at the end of a game only to eventually win it, twice in the same season?!?!

Congrats flames, let's keep this rolling 3 out of a possible 4 points in the past 2 games, keep em comin.

Flames out sized for first half, Paul Byron pushes back against doughty, gaudreau with patience and skill, a hat trick, a great save by hiller in overtime and a power move by the captain

Equals one of the best games i've watched in a while!!!
