Yeah. For all the cfl haters saying our league is a joke due to the officiating. That call has to be the biggest joke all season. Maybe league like seahawks better.

Same penalty got called against Pitt this morning when they hit Ryan. That was actually worse.

Yup, horrible call, not sure what Houculi saw but he threw it right away.

SF only has 30 yards or so in the second half of total offense and that's not going to win you much.

yeah the CFL gets a lot of heat for reffing but the NFL is horrible as well......... hate to see a really pathetic call lose a game for a team once the playoffs hit...... right now it looks like the refs are getting paid by the flag. it is becoming tough to watch

will be interesting to see if Harbaugh moes on and the new coach comes in and decides if Kaepernick is his guy or they draft a successor, this guy has the athletic tools but isnt "QB smart"

Houculi just likes the sounds of his own voice.

Lions-Packers now pretty much locked into the Sunday Nighter in week 17. It will be for the division even if the Lions lose next week. Green Bay has Tampa Bay so we'll call that a win. But Chargers/Chiefs, Falcons/Panthers and Steelers/Bengals could also all be win and in for a playoff spot. That'd be one intense Sunday.

Solid win by Broncos.

12-0 within division on the road under Elway/Fox. Wow.

Sorry to interupt the game talk with an odd question, but Ive made a bit of a blunder and need a scheduling expert to help me out-

Does anyone know how they decide the schedule for the divisional round (Jan 10th and 11th this year)? There is an AFC and NFC game on both the Saturday and on the Sunday, but trying to figure out if the selection on who gets which slots is random. Looking at past years, this seems to be the case??

I think NBC gets first choice since those are the only playoff games they have (other than years they have the Super Bowl).

No, NBC doesn't get divisional games. They do both sat game for wildcard, and get first pick, but only fox and cbs do the divisional round.

edit- either way, Im pretty sure the selection is random. Im not able to watch the Saturday night game on the 10th and am a little worried. first world problems.

Oh I missed that. Then it's about who has the primetime game Saturday and the late Sunday game. Primetime Saturday/late Sunday will be the biggest drawing games, and it rotates each year between Fox and CBS as to who has which game.

Looks like the format of NBC doing both Saturday wildcard games is over. Looks like they will get one wild card and one divisional from here on. ESPN will get the one wildcard game NBC is giving up.

Interesting. I would assume then NBC is getting the Saturday night game.

Tuck rule doesn't exist anymore Collinsworth. Brutal hit on Romo, he's gotta throw that away.
