Why didnt the OP didnt throw a punch back? It's good that he confronted the racist, but if you're going to, you're going to have to expect to have to get in a brawl, especially when he chose to get up all in your face.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to find the guy, and if the Police would even care over a "minor" indecent. I'm going to call them and there are plenty of people that gave me their names and numbers who would come forward.

GirlySports - Two of the people I defended said thank you and were very kind after... If I didn't have a pressing engagement I would have asked them to join me in a VERY cold beverage.

This . I've always say #### when I see people acting like #######s. Not picking fights but I will say that your treating this employee/ person like ####. If you wanna act like a dick there's the states south of us. We are Canadian and your #### antics is an embarrassing display against your flag of a nation of what true freedom is.

This is not a the OP looking for glory. He did what was right, what any ####ing Real Canadian should do. Standing up for his felloe Canadian against a disgusting act of hate and Violence. The cops can't protect you during an event , they don't show up usually until after the fact. If we don't stick up for each other then we have no chance as a society.

I think what you did is awesome, because the people that the racist comments were directed towards probably had a pretty bad day because of this, but the one positive they can take from it is that someone cared, and they have confirmation that some people out there don't think that way.

This has nothing to do with helping someone who is getting their ass beat, or protecting friends a loud mouth on a train is hardly a threat.

Admitting you would watch someone else get abused out of fear for yourself is one thing, but criticizing the guy's motives for posting is unnecessary and kind of scummy.
