Shouldn't be problem. Arc damage does extra damage this week and I have a fully upgraded machine gun and sniper with arc. Me and my buddy ran a 26 through in about 30 minutes today.

I'm the one that threw the frag lol. I was standing on the Venus portal switch on the outside. Everything was turning red so I knew something bad went down in the portal. I was gonna run in to help. But then screen turned deep red. I was expecting a wipe. I was right at the portal entrance in full view of Atheon. So threw the frag and got off a last shot with my fusion before I auto died. 6 second countdown starts. But then suddenly it stopped and I had an Atheon' Epilogue show up on my screen lol. We win!

I'm just wondering, since I didn't buy the season pass will it matter if i purchase the new Dark Below DLC before OR after its release date of December 9th? I won't be in town during the release so does buying it before i leave come with any advantages?

Did HM Raid for the first time yesterday. Actually got the raid helmet, gloves and chest in that one run. I only needed a chest though since I have an exotic helmet, and IB boots and gloves. Solid goods from that run, regardless. Now I can finally hit 30 with my titan!

It's really easy because it's not random.
Big changes today, patch buffs exotics, fixes Templar glitch and adds a new way to upgrade exotics. Also changed the in-game economy to feature materials like spinmetal and relic iron.

Aw. I was hoping they would fix the screwed up portals in the Atheon room before fixing the Templar cheese. Wrong priorities I say.
Not sure how I feel about the exotic changes yet. I have plenty of strange coins I guess...but I don't like the idea of waiting until the weekend to upgrade my stuff. We'll see how it all plays out. Buying mats with vanguard points seems like a great idea at least. Less grinding.

You can get exotic shards from dismantling exotic armor and weapons. If you could upgrade more than 2 exotics fully per week, you're probably playing too much haha.

I was slaying with the Mythoclast in PVP today so I'm happy about that buff. I'll probably try and upgrade Bad Juju right now too, I like the changes they made to it.

mythoclast buff was for PvE only, all weapon damage is normalized in PvP outside of Iron Banner. But glad it was working for you!

It was quite an uplifting feeling to now no long plan for long farming sessions. I can upgrade whatever piece of gear I want. Only true limitations now are marks and glimmer which make more sense.

New patch includes exotic upgrades which force you to 'reset' their progression, old legendaries no longer being relevant, the need for 'Commendations' from Vanguard/Crucible packages.
The riot is real.

The wording is too vague for me to get worked up as of yet. I'm hoping that only fully lvl'd weapons can be upgraded, otherwise a base exotic is just as valuable as one that's fully lvl'd today.
That would not be cool.
Otherwise, I'm fine with it. I was never planning on sticking with these weapons forever, new stuff drops and makes old stuff irrelevant, it's the way these types of games work.
If anything, the fact that I can simply upgrade what I've got rather than put myself through the trials and tribulations of RNG drops completely ignoring me, is a blessing I am thankful for. Time I can handle, but time for no reward is when I get frustrated.
*cough* Where's my damn Ghjallahorn or Icebreaker, Bungie??? *cough*
