49ers offense is pathetic, bottom of the league. Kaepernick and their offensive coordinator are brutal this year. Seattle may hold them to zero points today.

I almost predicted it!
But ya Kaepernick is terrible, he's regressing like RG3 and will probably be out of the league soon. 49ers defense played awesome, especially considering they dont have Patrick Willis, Navorro Bowman, Glenn Dorsey and Ian Williams.
The offense and Kaepernick is just that bad. A lost season for San Fran for sure now.

I wonder if the obviously crappy play of Dalton, Kaepernick and Cutler this year will give Carolina something to think about with Cam Newton's upcoming contract, as he has been arguably even worse than those guys. QB contracts had come to a head at some point, now seems like the time for teams to slow their roll.

Im not a big fan of his either...but you cant really put that teams failures on him this year.
His best receivers are Jerico Cotchery and a raw rookie.....all while playing behind an o-line that is simply the most inexperienced and worst in the league.

i agree, it isnt on him completely, the team around him is really playing poorly but he also looks lost out there too......... their defense is the biggest surprise, they are horrible this year. he still strikes me as too much of a guy looking to pose after TD's... maybe i am wrong.

Carolina's offense last year wasn't good, they were masked by their elite defensive play. But they were very poor offensively last year too only ranking 26th overall. Cam is just like Kaep and RGIII, one read guys who run if the first read isn't there. They are not pocket QBs, they are not QBs you can win with a mediocre team around them like Aaron Rodgers. And as such, they shouldn't be getting paid close to Aaron Rodgers.

Ray Rice wins appeal and is now immediately reinstated and can sign with any team.

Doesn't matter, his career is over. His replacement in Baltimore came from off the street and will challenge 1,300 yards rushing this year (Ray averaged a horribly bad 2.9 YPC last year). Running backs are too easily replaceable. Signing Ray Rice is a massive distraction and protests are almost assured. He's finished.

The thing is, Kaep's contract is super team friendly.

First, since the initial five years are guaranteed for injury only, the Niners can cut Kaepernick at any time and not owe him a thing—it's pay-as-you-go. Second, instead of bonuses, the deal contains a de-escalator clause that requires Kaepernick to be wildly successful, or his payout drops each year.

I would have preferred the 49ers to have stuck with Alex Smith, but I can understand why they didn't. Kaep has all the tools, he just can't seem to put them together when needed. I think everyone hoped experience would let the game slow down and he would be better but instead he is feeling the pressure and regressing.

The Rams have 35 points....with 8 minutes left in the 1st half. Raiders a complete no show today.
Steelers on their way to losing their second home game of the year....to the NFC South.
Vikings with 2 blocked punts for TD's.
Any given Sunday indeed.

It's like College football today.
35-0, 28-6, 24-0, 21-3 for scores at or before half time.

Raiders must have over celebrated their win on 10 days rest.
Browns down 20-3 bring in Johnny Football. He runs 10 yards for a TD.

I liken it to a tribute to the CFL on Grey Cup Sunday. 6 games are 45 points or over, with none of them final.

Marvin Lewis with the best coaching move of the year. Bucs get a pass play inside the 20 down 14-13, he throws the challenge flag and gets dinged a timeout but it gets the review booths attention, Bucs had 12 men on the field and the penalty takes them out of range, they don't recover and the Bengals win. Amazing, might be what gets them in the playoffs.

Jaguars down by 21... and they come back to beat the Giants who have lost 7 in a row now hahahahahah.
If you're like me and not watching the Grey Cup, a potential Super Bowl match-up starts on CBS in a few minutes. Should be the game of the year.
