I know the Flames are down by one, but aside from that, I did not mind that period. If the Flames keep playing like that tonight, they'll be just fine.

Calgary outshooting them 12-9.

Not sure but last time I looked Ducks are an elite team in the NHL.

Last five minutes or so were great. They're hitting more than usual. Love them working over Perry like that.

Lets be honest here MacLean... Perry is running the show out there.. Getzlaf hasn't done much.

Overall a pretty impressive period by the Flames. They looked a bit scrambly at times in their own end but definitely created some good chances in the offensive zone.

Showing the goal again. Flames had a good chance to clear and failed.

Had a bad break on the goal, but otherwise it was a pretty solid period from the Flames. Ducks had some good pressure at times, but the Flames had the better scoring chances and more shots on goal. I'll take that as long as we don't get any more wacky goals. I'm looking at you, ghosts of Honda Center.

Yeah, Getzlaf and Perry do that sometimes.

Flames with some good pressure at the end the period. Keep skating and just throw everything at the net. We'll get one eventually. But man, we're still having all kinds of problems with the Ducks' top line. We're just totally outmatched anytime they're on the ice.

Had a chance even with them on. Didn't pass quickly enough.

Sven is playing well. Hope he pots one tonight. Johnny is like a Jedi out there... Sooner or later the pucks are going to start going in the net.

Looked like Perry kneed Gio in the ribs there before Gio got him back. What a puke

Last game they were shut down by Monahan, Glencross and Jones and the top D pair. This time they've been able to get out against other lines.
