When two guys are mixing it up and decide to fight, they don't know there's a rush the other way. It builds for a few seconds.

Watch it again because that's not what happened. Russell picked the fight, 4 crosschecks on Kesler and Kesler only engages when he sees the rush going up the ice. Kesler wasn't even looking at Russell while the fight was building up.

I can agree that Russell is overrated as well. Not that I think he's a bad player, I actually really like him, but some people act like he's Drew Doughty sometimes.

Some good quick breakouts by the Flames in the 2nd half of this period. Not getting hemmed in as much. Good stuff. When they use their speed, they're so much more effective.

Yup, true. But once again, its another mistake/misplay that ive noticed in Russell's game lately. They are adding up, imo.

Just wanted to say, Bollig is having his best game so far as a Flame. Is playing well both offensively and defensively and is finishing his checks.
