Gaudreau was really buzzing out there. I don't know if it was Jackman hacking at him fired him or he wanted to prove he could play against the big boy teams.... but he was damn impressive. That backcheck in OT was great.

I give them full marks for the comeback. Good teams find ways to win and this was one of them.
This team believes they can beat any team in this league and have the confidence they can rise to the occassion when they have a bad start.
The above 2 points are why I love this team. Heart, grit, determination and the will to win makes this years team very special in the eyes of Flames fans.
Just enjoy the ride and all the thrills that come with it!

Anahaim was playing balls to the wall hockey, not just taking a surprise team likely... I thought they had more trouble containing Granlund, Johnny etc then we did Getzlaf and Perry. Incredible... we're pretty much at Thanksgiving, Anahaim is a top team... I consider myself to be a pretty critical fan, but I'm becoming a believer.

If you have a penalty in o/t and it has not expired, you should not be available for the shootout. #### you Kesler.

So Kesler did a Hogan salute after his lame shootout goal to all the boos that rained down on him.. you're still a POS Kes.. Go cry on the bench..

Another quietly effective game for Markus Granlund. He's not a flashy eye popping player, but he looks like he will be a very effective NHL player. Yet another game with 20 plus minutes, and a couple more assists. Pretty good for a guy who never seems to rate as a high level prospect.
Also have to credit Wideman for how he handled being scratched. Rather than sulk and pout, he's come back and played to the best of his abilities. Still has holes in his game to be sure, but he is doing what could realistically have been expected of him when he signed here.
Fun times to be a Flames fan.

They should have kept Feaster on as AGM in charge of drafting, these kids are turning out pretty damn good.

So I turned off the TV after the 2nd to do some work, Anaheim had complete control of the game and it was pretty much a snoozefest at that point so I didn't think I'd miss a whole lot in the third
I really need to stop thinking of this team in terms of how past Flames groups handled adversity, because this is nothing like I've ever seen from this team since '04. Amazing

I can't help but wonder if our team is better off with at least one or two of these injuries.

He's one helluva player, objectively speaking, but I hate him with the fire of a thousand suns.
