Jooris was signed in 2013 was he not? Wouldn't that make him a Feaster find?

Ramo has earned a 2nd consecutive start. Caught sleeping on Ryan's goal but other than that, solid.

Great find by Feaster

Yeah, wasn't there an article a couple days ago where feaster said he felt horrible by convincing Jooris to quit school early so he could sign with the Flames and missed out on Union's Frozen Four run.

Let's not forget the Flames played like a borderline playoff team last year from January 1st onward. The overall record wasnt good, but the improvement started to show last year.

The guys played well tonight and showed their speed and tenacity. Ramo was a little rusty to start but made a couple nice stops. I love how Granlund just gets points and is under the radar about it, I think he's one behind his brother. Gotta love Byron's speed tonight and how he's turning into a much dangerous threat than anyone thought he could be. Jooris was fast as well and was huge in the faceoffs.

Not sure who got the fireman's helmet, but if it has a faceshield give it to Gio and tell him to keep it on for the rest of the season.

Tuesday and Thursday will be interesting tests for them. Go Flames!

No argument from me on that. But the Flames can only keep so many players in the roster. If you are going to ask, I would rather see Setoguchi and even Stajan gone so those two can stay. Unfortunately the Flames will not get rid of Stajan but maybe they will get rid of Setoguchi so they can keep Josh Jooris.

I am loving the youth movement with the Flames right now and makes me wish Stajan will be done for the season but that is just mean of me to think that.

Might have to start thinking about Josh Jooris in the Calder discussion.

Yep! Jooris was playing in Abby when Treliving was still with the Coyotes. Free agent signing from NCAA.

That's the way I see the teams right now. I think we are legitimately the 6th best team in this conference, and definitely no worse than 8th.
Edmonton<Arizona<Colorado<Dallas<Winnipeg<SanJose< Calgary<Vancouver<Nashville<Minnesota<Chicago<L.A. <St. Louis<Anaheim

We need to beat the Canucks and Preds to get a wild card spot is how I see it.

/edit k now I got my list right haha

Treliving get gets the credit for making Jooris the first call up I guess.

Jooris get's the credit for his amazing training camp and preseason. He was borderline on the team but got sent down. It was pretty clear he would be the first call up once an injury happened.

It was a joke. Of course Jooris was the obvious call up. Though there were some saying Ferland or Sven.

Reffing was atrocious tonight. 7 penalties versus 2? Flames played solid. The Glencross, Hudler and Monahan line, along with Russell and Wideman on D was very poor (except Monahan) the whole night. Most of the chances for the Sens came when this line was out.

Sens were a very quick team. However, their offence consists of gently kicking pucks to the net. Very light power but dangerous positioning. Karlson played very well.

We were the better team.

In fairness that is no brainer after his training camp performance. I also think Bob Hartley should get the credit.

@CRoatis on Twitter:

"The best part of the Josh Jooris story is that he was at Canucks development camp and was released a year before signing with the #Flames."

I didn't realize that!

That SVEN ASSIST tho!

I can't even describe how happy I am to see him showing glimpses of his confident self again. I hope it's a rotating door between Sven and Gaudreau here on out. If one isn't going the other is. As long as one of our skilled ice wizards is making things happen I'm happy.

9 more wins until I'm going to declare myself fully on the playoff boat.
