Before his mom moved down here last season, wasn't the billet family rumored to be Otto? Was that ever confirmed?

I thought it was Peplinski. Although I don't think it was ever confirmed, it was more a billet that was close to the team. Everything else, I'm thinking, was just speculation.

That pass from Hudler was amazing. I don't think I've ever seen a back pass like that actually work for the flames

Interesting fact: We're the highest scoring team in the pacific division right now with 49 goals for (3.00 G/G).

Which is good and surprising, although usually San Jose averages in the 3.50 range.

Saw this posted elsewhere, really great look at that pass from Johnny to Monahan. Amazing stuff:

Also: what a savvy move by Monahan to avoid that check at the last second and get his stick on the ice. A wow moment from both guys who are showing some chemistry together yet again.

Technically we have only scored 48 goals, the extra goal is from the shootout win.

We have also played 1/2 more games then the rest of the division.

Its a great start though!

Monahan's learned what Colborne and Raymond should have at the start of the season - to go to the front of the net and wait for / expect Johnny to put the puck on your stick.

Lightning fast read by Mono there in the crease though still to put it home. That goal was a beaut.

"Gaudreau to Monahan... Monahan scores!"

I could get used to that for the next decade.

Just watched the full game. Great comeback win for the good guys.

Giordano is playing incredible and along with Brodie, Monahan and Gaudreau are the Flames future.

I feel a bit bad for Ramo as most of the goals against weren't really his fault. I hope it doesn't take another 6-8 games for him to redeem himself.

Great to see a game live at a reasonable hour
So Hartley loves to shorten his bench to the top two lines whenever we are in a close game, considering the amount of one goal games we seem to play he is going to be rolling the top two lines a hell of a lot. That cannot be good as the season goes on as they are going to wear down real fast. This may change once we get all of the healthy bodies back, we shall see, but if it doesn't we could see some injuries to key players again.

I've always liked AC's vids on here, but lately, all I see is a black box. Does anyone know why? If it helps, I'm using an iPad (an older one)

Yeah Macs have an issue with webm files it seems. I'm not sure if there's a solution, but you could search Google and see if there's anything you could do to see webm files.
