The idea would have been that we were going to lynch girly at lynch or lose anyways. So if Squiggs kills her he is imbedded as confirmed town. After Squiggs kills scum he hopes we turn on oling, Squiggs pushed for this rather than for the best candidate which was Aeneas at the time.

But it's a huge gamble. Why zap one of your buddies and "kind of" be on board to vote another out? And then just negate all that with self preserving talk? It's just odd.

Because I don't care if people accuse me of being scum. Someone being wrong about me being scum doesn't make them scum. It just makes them wrong.

I don't think they are scum. Starseeds refusal to disclose his buddy on day 3 and the way he disclosed on day 4/5(form kill rewind day) lead me to believe they are town.

One thing I just thought of though which makes me want to lynch pux is that girlies bus driver power switched ECF and Pux. This would make sense trying to move any protections onto pux instead of ECF.

Yep that's what bugs me about it and makes me want to just lynch Timbo who seems to have disappeared again now that the heat is off of him.

I think most of us were feeling Girlysports was mafia but couldn't risk the power being true. Aeneas and her, in retrospect especially, had made a pretty blatant move together so I don't know if their time was long.

So, in my mind, either Squiggs96 is town and given a kill power to take me out causing his lynch (which was already on track) and allow the mafia to enter today with 5-4 or 6-4 (if saved work). Even if somehow I didn't die, as we still don't know how the Eternal powers work and why GGG was saved, it would lead to my lynch after Squiggs96 was lynched and showed town. However, Squiggs96 outsmarted them and didn't take the bait in killing me and instead took out the player most likely to be mafia without having to worry about the power as much since we still had a lynch.

Or, Squiggs96 is mafia and the tides had already turned. He was nearing a lynch and a mafia reveal would have meant Girly and Aeneas would be following shortly after. By killing Girlysports he gets to say that he killed the first mafia and therefore has to be town etc. Or even claim the power was Eternals when maybe it wasn't. But when Girlysports was revealed there should have been no doubt into voting for Aeneas in my opinion.

In any case, I think shooting Girlysports would have been a good decision regardless of what side he was on.

If Squiggs is town, then likely 2 of the voters for him are mafia. This means that Oling and Starseed are mafia. Which also means Puxlut is mafia.

If Squiggs is mafia, then Timbo and Dissentowner are mafia.

If Squiggs is a third faction, then the most likely option is that those voting for him think he is opposed to themselves, which means Oling and Starseed (and Pux) are mafia.

Anyone see any glaring hole in that logic?

Yes. I feel very confident that based on the situation yesterday there are only 4 mafia members or they would have lynched a townie yesterday and very likely would have had a 5-4 advantage going into today (with the possible Starseed or Diss extra vote).
