I just want a convincing win and some points towards Mr. Hockey's Calder campaign.

I think Gordie Howe is a little old to qualify for the Calder.

This is my third night at the Dome this week. I'm tired. But I will be singing that Canadian anthem as hard as I possibly can tonight. Go Flames go!

Yeah he definitely looks more comfortable. I think it's showing on the ice as well. An extra motivated Johnny tonight should be a lot of fun to watch.

Last year Moneyhands shooting percentage was 15.7% (140 shots, 22 goals) and so far this year it is 0.0% (20 shots, 0 goals). He is overdue to pot one - hopefully tonite.

Except they are on home ice where they have the last change - much easier to give them sheltered minutes.
And putting them together makes it easier to give all of them sheltered minutes - that would give Monahan a chance to get going.
And... this is the Hurricanes

Opposite perspective of JG not going out on the ice for OT... let's say he makes a rookie mistake, leads to goal against. Even though it could happen to anyone, his confidence takes a hit and fans come down from the cloud and think he's human (although the second one is very unlikely!)

Well he hasn't pulled a Dennis Wideman yet, so that's good enough for me.
(+4 on the season too, not too shabby)

All I ask for tonight is a more balanced effort through out the game. No "taking a period off" as it were. Oh and maybe a greasy Johnny Hockey move to start up another round of TSN's JG V 1

I'll be in attendance for the first time this season. Expecting an emotional rendition of O Canada to help fire up the boys. 4-1 Calgary.

Not that it matters but I'd like to know, is his name pronounced Guy as in Carbonneau or as in "I ain't your buddy, Guy."?

Yes, Guy Gaudreau (pronounced like “Guy” in Guy Lafleur) was casting doubt on their eldest son’s very hockey being, but this also was their eldest son’s very first day on the ice.
