Extra security at the dome tonight. Fans going to the game are advised to arrive early due to extra security precautions.

Peters thought Rask was the better option through camp. Even if the Staals are injured it appears that Lindholm's going to be a RW for Carolina for a while

Really like this lineup. No problem rolling 4 lines with this group. Like Colborne on Monahan wing a lot. I have no doubt Monny pots one tonight.

Bollig-Bouma-Jooris... love it!
I like those lines (though I would switch Gaudreau and Hudler). Still, best of the year so far, IMHO.

The Flames in the past few years have been notorious for losing the games that should be 2 points for them. Hopefully we see that change. 5-0 Flames

Preliminary results from the player tracking thing one company is doing showed Colborne as one of players who hustles the most. He spent over 40% of his TOI at a high speed, versus Ovechkin, who I think was less that 25%

Sample sizes are way too small at this point - it would take every shift from multiple games before it even began to be representative.
But I can't wait until they do have a useful amount of data - that is a stat I definitely want to see!

6 games worth and every shift I believe, so not totally irrelevant, but yeah not enough for big conclusions. Still promising though

It would be nice to see the fourth line look solid without Stajan. They don't need to carry the play or anything - just give some energy and not be trapped in our zone every time they take a shift.
Hopefully we see a better start tonight.

They need to spread the experienced players around. For how much we love them offensively, a line of Gaudreau-Monahan-Colborne would be susceptible defensively just due to their experience level in the NHL.

Even though we rag on him, D. Jones brings more to the lineup when healthy, and Jooris has probably earned his bottom 6 spot for now, even if he's in an out of the lineup.

I'd like to see us keep the playoff dream alive here. Hopefully Johnny gets his point streak to 3 games. A loss would be devestating
