So now what happens if he dies tonight? No confirmed townies, in your opinion. I mean at this point the mafia almost has to know who the cop is. Maybe at worst they have 2 targets and can probably kill one and block the other (assuming Squiggs96 is telling the truth about his power it only works if the mafia have a blocker).

That is a valid argument. I guess the cop should decide if revealing what he knows will help the town.

You still did not address what was in my message sent to me about the mafia board. Maybe it was to add confusion, maybe not. My point being is that you are not comfirmed town, nobody is. The scum have many tricks. Right now I am less suspicious of you than the two I mentioned in my last post and especially the person I voted for.

The thing is it is starting to get close to a lynch a scum or we are in deep doo doo time. We have to get it right. Maybe the cop should reveal after all. I am fine with either GS or squiggs as a best bet. I have voted so you know what I think.

I still think your theory is right, Its just a scum power and they just get guardian invites (that powers work) and eternal invites (which powers don't) and one of each can be out at a time. They get to cause confusion at the expense of handing out powers to townies.

The draw back with this is if Timbo is scum he can confirm whoever pops up. If we force Timbo to name them it outs him if he is scum. Unless of course both are scum.

If the cop comes out first, Scum timbo says it isn't him, what do we do? This to me seems like a bad situation to be in.

The risk in having Timbo do it is that we don't know how much info the cop has only the cop does. We could reveal him with nothing.

Timbo, can you verfiy the type of investigation that was returned to you? Do you know if it was a role cop investigating or an alignment cop investigating. Can you definitively tell the difference. In an earlier post you stated you did not recieve the allignment back.

With the amount of powers in this game to help us out and the people we have left I do not believe we had a cop. The only piece of evidence that points to a cop is Timbo and his bucket.

We have to pick one or the other. So for me whatever Timbo says about the cop I will believe.

1. Nope. If they could just avoid night actions of the town, it would benefit them, but without the night kill, there is no way they can advance the game toward them winning. No way Mazrim would give a mafia member that power on the basis of not having any town actions for one night.

2. Maybe you misunderstood what I asked, so will paraphrase it here. What was the possible benefit to the mafia of skipping night for the mafia? Without a benefit, there is no reason for them to do it.

If you answered those questions, I will address the rest of your questions. Until that point, I will not respond at all to any post you make on this matter.
