I don't see how you'd block a day power. If they are set to fail on mafia then puxlut, me, formulate and Starseed are scum, I know I am town and we can lynch me to prove my lynchproof claim. So I don't think it's linked to that
If the powers are fake perhaps wood is scum and you were returned a false result. If mafia is handing out the invites without a separate win condition here is what it looks like
GP-Matt is about to be lynched, he gets a lynchproof offer. Creates confusion
Starseed gets late day 1 invite
ECF gets next invite gets the poison that doesn't work
We talk about rejecting invites, scum sends invite to girly, she rejects gets town cred.
Mrkajz gets invited, rejects.
I state I will accept so I get an invite. Scum knows this will cause me to rise up the suspect list.
Rathji gets eternal invite, doesn't have time to accept, gets guardian one early today.
HG discloses power, both Timbo and form are eager to get shot (do they know the power is fake.
I have been suspicious of girly on and off all game. It seems very convenient that she was the one to get and reject the next invite just as we are talking about rejecting them.

So it's either the power didn't work, or formulate can't be day-killed.

Day 1:
I investigated Formulate - My action failed
Pretty hectic, maybe it was just fluke so I didn't want to accuse to quickly but I wanted to keep my eye on him.
Day 2:
I investigated Drury18 - Drury18 did not appear to target anyone.
I know this is convienent but I tried to leave this hint in case I died. The same way I kept bringing up Formulate in my fighting with Starseed.

Day 3:
I investigated Formulate - my action failed.
Thanks to Starseed, I looked a bit at roles and stuff and came to the conculusion that Formulate is probably Godfather or something else that stops from investigating.
When the plan came to kill Formulate and he was all on board, not even afraid to reveal his power (which he would have been if he was the cop or had any other useful power) I knew he was bulletproof as well.
I left an absolute terrible hint but:

I mean it's terrible but oh well.
Removing the Godfather from the game is worth my reveal. I'm confident Formulate is. I know this removes one hiding spot for the cop, but I'm also pretty sure I wasn't going to be killed by the mafia anyways after todays events.
I don't have anyway to confirm but this is the truth.

Can you think of another way to use your power? You could use it like drury's right at lynch but im not sure that gives us more info.

So then, rewind the day, kill someone else, then Lynch formulate?

So clarify for me, Starseeds power he got from guardians worked: he investigated Wood, but Rathji's power did not. It fizzled.

I wanted Timbo killed first to prove town (something I don't actually have proof of, just believe), and that it was a real kill so we wouldn't be fooled by bulletproof.
I then wanted formulate to take the next bullet. But I think if I was too pushy people would be against my plan and would probably backfire.

I have to use it before the lynch. Drury had to use his after the lynch.

Huh, nevermind. Oling's post may make my question irrelevant.
Nice reveal.

I wondered why the hell my name came up as an "example" for a cop. It made no sense why you would pick mine over everyone else.

Yeah - we are not sure why the power didn't work. Is the power fake or was formulate bulletproof?

Ok so, we could do either of these....
A) Lynch formulate with no rewind, no worries about the side effects of rewind. Hope he flips scum or killer.
B) Rewind try the kill on someone else, if it works lynch formulate. If it doesn't work then that's a whole other problem.
Unless there is another possibility and I'm not seeing it?

If we use your bullet and then it works, we don't have a rewind to bring them back to life.

We have to rewind to get the bullet back.
It failed on Formulate.

That's why the bullet wouldn't be used on a suspected townie first to prove it works like in Oling's example. We'd have to figure out whose the most suspected scum after formulate to use it on.
No one volunteering for the kill. We take out the next suspected scum.

Reverse the day, use the kill on any of girly, Aeneas or squiggs I think, and then we Lynch formulate
If Oling is right about formulate this should work
