Looks like Tom and Gisele have something in common.... Brasil gets blasted and now Tom gets unloaded on.
Love it!

Tom did say he would retire when he started sucking.
I would not bury the Pats yet. Still tied for first, and have played 3 out 4 on the road.
The offence is strangely ineffective.

Awesome game. Chiefs should have put up a few more points. Patriots are owed a few beat downs. Since the Tennessee mess the Chiefs have played pretty well.
And, surprise. Denise Allen is fired. No one saw that coming.

Why fire this coach this early into the season though? It's not like they can turn it around and they had to have known they were going to stink going in.

There's no point to keeping a lame duck coach. Whether they fire him now or at the end of the year, he was clearly getting fired. Might as well get a head start on the coaching search.
Also looks like NFL has a new controversy on it's hands, Husain Abdullah was flagged 15 yards for praying in the end zone (he's Muslim). Christian players rarely if ever flagged for anything similar. Should be interesting to see the league's reaction.

Ya that was ridiculous. Didn't go overboard. (There are Cricket players who do it all the time after a 50 or a 100 or a 5 for). Stupid flag.

I did think about that after seeing the play last night, they did implement the new rule about going to the ground but made the caveat that if it was for religious celebrations they would allow it. I only keyed into that portion of the rule because Jared Allen would always go to one knee after a sack, which he had to change, and AP used to go to ground and point up, which he didn't have to change.
Wondering if the league will have any reaction to this, kind of a silly penalty in general if you ask me. Just let these guys celebrate however they want to, pretty sure most of the fan base likes seeing that kind of enthusiasm.

To me it honestly looked like a prayer. He went to his knees and then leaned his head forward to the ground. Even if it wasn't, what a ridiculous thing to get an unsportsmanlike for.

as a dolphin fan, watching the pats get beat by the phins in week 1, and then getting a primetime beat down on monday night is priceless!
that being said, this year's AFC East champ may be the worst team to ever qualify for the playoffs as a division champ in the history of the league! Pats have had the luxury of just eating up Ws in their inter div play for years, welcome back to the pack mofos

Currently the eight division leaders (Buffalo, Cincinnati, Houston, San Diego, Philadelphia, Detroit, Carolina and Arizona) have a combined ZERO Super Bowl titles

I think both him and Payton need to go. I like Payton and appreciate what he has done for the Saints but his play calling has been bad and his teams performance on the road is not acceptable.

Seriously? The guy has a career win percentage of .635 in the regular season, .600 in the playoffs, has taken the Saints to two NFC championships, won a Super Bowl, won three division titles, been to the playoffs in five out of his seven seasons as head coach, and has had a top 15 offense every year as a head coach. I'd say most importantly he's taken the Saints from being perennial afterthoughts to being perennially feared by every other team in the league. Who is out there that you think is better than Payton at the moment?
I'd say the top 5 coaches in the NFL at the moment are Carroll, Payton, the Harbaugh brothers, and maybe Belicheck. The Saints would be insane to fire Payton.

I think Tomlin and Reid are both better than the Harbaugh brothers.

Tomlin maybe, but no way Andy Reid belongs in that discussion. John has a ring and Jim has won an NFC Championship, as well as made the conference finals in each of his first three seasons.
Jim Harbaugh - .745 winning percentage, .625 in playoffs
John Harbaugh - .650 winning percentage, .692 in playoffs
Mike Tomlin - .629 winning percentage, .625 in playoffs
|
|

V
Andy Reid - .588 winning percentage, .500 in playoffs
Also, how many times have the Harbaugh brothers appointed their offensive line coach to be their defensive coordinator?
