Huge win in regards to the tv broadcast team absolutely. I'll be pvring all the games. Listening to wills and Loubardias on the radio would be like listening to nails on a chaulk board for 3 hours. Hate both their voices.

I think Strombo is "hosting" it, as he is hosting all of HNIC, but both MacLean and Cherry are still doing their usual thing.

For all the flack Rogers has gotten after taking over the sole National broadcasting rights, they actually have upgraded their on air personalities by a good margin going into their first season as hockey broadcasting overlords.

Strombo hosts HNiC, Maclean hosts Coach's Corner.

Have to give Sportsnet credit there, this is a very good team they've brought up. A major step up from anything we've ever had on Sportsnet for the Flames. Actually excited to hear this team full time.

I liked Hrudey's comments. Basically saying that he isn't going to be a homer, and has to find that sweet spot where you're supporting the team but still being honest and critical and not masking anything.

This is such an upgrade to Kerr/Simmer - especially since we have Kerr back on the FAN where he is so awesome.
