Isn't Bennett the highest draft pick at the tournament though? Massive difference between a highly rated prospect like Sam (4th OA) saying it and Hunter(24th OA) saying it.

Nothing wrong with wanting to be great in the young guns tourney. I rather Sven had that attitude last year over his, thought the tourney was beneath him attitude.

Most of your guys should be over 6 feet, preferably bigger.

Yet they were the 2nd time and so was Pittsburgh when they won. I think you need a combination of size and skill, I agree there, but you can win on just skill alone.

I fully expect Gaudreau to be the best player at this tournament but id be pretty surprised if he came out and said something like that.

Shinkaruk has done very little to justify that kind of cockiness.

Fram/Padakin will hopefully score AHL contracts, kind of interested in Gedig aswell, he was very positionally sound during the prospect tourney, you almost never noticed him for the wrong reasons

Why won't Trevor Gillies go away? I don't really want him on the farm again. We have bruisers who can do his job.

Great to see Padakin though. I like this kid. Been a great player and room guy for the Hitmen and would love to see him on the farm. He could end up doing some surprising things.

So Carl Neil and Brendan Bell the only 2 guys from rookie camps that didnt get invites to big camp. Neil is 18 and undrafted so he wasn't gonna do much, so send him back early. I don't remember hearing anything Bell during Prospects tourny.

I'm gonna go in to watch whichever scrimmage has Gaudreau/Bennett/Granlund on friday.
