If you want to. I was just showing that there are police shootings of white people (as well as latino and likely oriental, etc) but they are hard to even search out and find because they don't cause much of a ripple in the news. Let's not act like ONLY black people get shot, beaten and harrassed by police.

No one is acting like that. People are just saying that it's incredibly disproportionate.

This is exactly why police should be considered the most dangerous individual in any confrontational situation. They are invariably armed, have the backing of a powerful institution giving them near immunity to criminal prosecution, and have self-selected into a group of people who want to be armed and experience confrontation.

I can't speak for the police in America, but all the police I know or have known (RCMP, CPS, EPS) don't want confrontation.
I would also suggest that your assertion that "police should be considered the most dangerous individual in any confrontational siituation" is ill informed. If such was the case we would have a daily string of these types of stories.

I can't remember the exact case but a drunken white supermist was piss ass drunk out in public with a gun and a don't tread on me flag shouting about a revolution . The cops showed up talked to him and let him on his way home. It was brought up recently after this event happened as a comparison. I'll try to find it but I really can't remember on which news report it was on.

The police better be THE most dangerous individual in a confrontation. I'd hate to see a cop cower when someone calls for help or when the public demands a cop put a stop to whatever situation is occurring.
Considering your bigoted view however, I don't assume you intended that or even gave it a passing thought.

That's why its called law enforcement, and not behavior request services. I'd argue that a cops role is split into thirds, dispute resolution, enforcement/intimidation, human services.
And I don't recall anything that said that cops are immune from prosecution, the investigative path is far different and I would think far more exacting then civilian investigations.
Are there bad cops? Absolutely, there are also bad firemen, ambulance drivers, garbage men, gas station attendance etc.
Its just that out of those groups, one group is armed and their bad behavior usually ends up in serious harm or death.

A black man is shot by the police every 28 hours in America.
Is there a breakdown of how many are considered legitimate shootings versus how many are considered questionable.
I think there needs to be some context put out instead of blindly throwing a stat out there.
Is that stat right, because it seems light. not to make light of it, but that's 312 shootings a year in a country with over a quarter billion people in it? And statistically that doesn't make sense there were 1100 police shootings in the states in 2011. Your number seems low.

On that note, look at the police reaction to these two incidents:
Exhibit 1: John Crawford, a 22 year old black man, was walking around Wal-mart with a pellet gun he picked up off the store shelf. Another customer called 911, and the police shot him dead.
Exhibit 2: members of the gun-activist group Open Carry Texas walk around a Target store brandishing rifles and shotguns. Nobody is shot by the police.
A black man is shot by the police every 28 hours in America.
Do you have a link for that?
I am not sure what agenda you are pushing here. You make these broad generalizations with absolutely zero context or thought.
This is exactly what the media does and those trying to support a broad idea that a given "group"- black men, police officers, jews, hispanics, etc are being unjustly treated or that its some sort of us vs. them ideology.
Slow down. Take a deep breath. Put those stats into context.

You're putting most dangerous and best equipped on the same plane. They're not necessarily the same thing.
