How many times do we have to see that nonsense?

Construction at 7:15AM on a Saturday.

Maybe someone can clear it up, but isn't that sort of noise before 9AM on weekends against Bylaws in Calgary? That's what I'd heard at least.

Also, the word "truculent" is no good. Anyone else agree?

I hate when a certain friend always asks what I would do if I was in her position. I always give her the same answer and she gets mad. I tell her I don't know the whole story and situation to tell you what to do.

She just called me telling me she broke up with her boyfriend and kept asking me if she made the right decision. I'm not sure how I'm in any position to tell her one way or another.

Fire on Ice is just a forum where you should read nothing but the OP, because there is an exponential decline in the informativeness and quality of posts the further the thread goes on, until the thread speed slows down and the quality bumps up by a slight bit once the driveby posters leave.

Except win threads. Skip to page 5 to (hopefully) miss all the inane gif-posting and circlejerking.

The traffic helicopter or whatever it is that hovers over my house.....on weekends. Seriously, what's with this stupid thing and who the eff is worried about a morning rush hour on saturday or Sunday morning? After researching, I think it's Global. The thing is loud and is pointless on the weekend. Go away.

I knew there had to be something about it I wasn't understanding. They never seemed to break what I thought it was on Sunday, so this makes a lot more sense. That sucks, but if it's allowed then I've got nothing to complain about.

Thanks!

"Just sayin'"

Yeah, we know you're just saying, because you just said it. I find it's usually code for the thing I'm just saying is stupid, inflammatory or annoying.

Constantly seeming to forget about the upper two heating elements in the toaster oven when I reach in for the slices of toast in the rear of the machine.

On the other side, ending your statement with "bring on the hate!" or "Lets see the overreactions!"

It's amusing in it's user's transparent need for attention and reaction.

"Here's something crazy! PLEASE RESPOND???"

When a user starts a thread, posts a link and says Discuss.

So I have to open the link, read the story, and comment on it, without the OP giving his side, sharing why he posted it, or even giving a paragraph of what's in the link? No thank you. Don't tell me what to do Internet.

What's the point of starting a thread, without contributing to the dialogue going on?
