Slight change to Muta's design. Felt it looked better with slight color change. Also kind of makes the C look like a hockey net.

Could you do the bottom logo with stronger red and orange to match Flames colors?

Just from an ethical point of view, intellectual property, all that...
Why don't you make your own designs instead of changing other people's?
I would think it would be fine to make suggestions to Muta and Split, but why not design your own?

Updated it, along with a reverse scheme and a grey scheme:

Apologies to Muta or Split if they feel I crossed any lines.
The feeling of this thread was one of collaboration and joint creativity so felt like it the opportunity was there to provide my own input it was open to that.
Not all of us have the tools or skills to design but still want to try to help Bingo and the site with a cool design.
Edit: Also credit to Split98 for the original design of the shoulder patch. Loved that from the jersey design thread and would love to see that design get some use somewhere.

All he did was change the color? It's not like he is trying to steal the idea.

And just to be clear, even though you weren't responding to me, I was just joking with the above post. I think the more people making changes the better.

I 140% appreciate anyone who steps in to stand up for original designs, but personally don't feel slighted in this instance. I actually find that this community does a GREAT job giving props to the original creator of every design I've ever put up on this site.
With the nature of this thread, I feel it's more a "hey! try this" than a "here is my submission" which I personally (I can't speak for Muta or any others) don't have a problem with.
Again, a huge 'thank you' to everyone who fights to make sure the original creator is recognized. All too often, this never happens and people take all the credit for other's work.
I'll just be ticked when a recolour wins as the new CP logo and he gets all the credit

Although I think a good rule going forward, considering we're starting to get some pretty professional looking designs is maybe the person making it should just state in their posts if they are okay with others altering it or if they'd like it to remain theirs and have all changes made by them?

Thanks! BUT, we also can't forget that the original concept actually came from Trailer Fire:

Bear in mind I'm horridly unartistic. I thought I'd give it a whirl though and see what you guys thought.

It's best that you don't ask questions. I also MAY have not noticed that until you pointed it out. Thankfully, I don't buy cards for children too often...

This was more of my point, not to infer someone might be stealing or attempting to take credit! I just know that some designers can be a bit anal about their work, so changing something yourself instead of asking them to do it can cause a bit of tension. That said, everybody here seems super chill, so more of a caution than anything! But speaking of anal...
