Photos have been sent to kunkstyle. It's now up to him to clear my name.

We better see the photo posted with a Dilbert head photoshopped onto it.

I have in fact seen the wedding photos and can confirm that Sliver was rocking a delightful blue/grey short sleeve "dress" shirt with what appears to be a patterened tie remniscent of a Q-bert level.

In light of new evidence, I fully retract my original claim of Sliver trolling his own thread and suggest the new conclusion that both himself as well as Ms. Sliver were completely unaware of the fashion atrocities he was comitting. She had a nice dress though.

As far as proof is concerned, I gave my word that they won't be posted here, but...

Spoiler!

Well, close at least. Shorter hair, no glasses, and a bit taller. But the tie is pretty close.

This thread is gold. I'm waiting for more tie around the head and Andy Sipowitz references.

OK, so when does Big Numbers die from tie ingestion?

Or did he already?

RIP Big Numbers.

I have a zipper tie that lights up. It's a christmas theme but if you want to borrow it for a wedding let me know. Easy to do up and very classy.

After reading this thread, I totally have this as my image of Sliver now:

Also seems odd to me that you don't want to tie a tie. It's a multitude easier than tying a figure 8 knot for climbing, or even a shoelace if you ask me. But to each his own I guess.

Edit: Just caught Kunkstyle's picture of Michael Boulton too lol. Totally on the same wavelength here.

Definitely not going to rock the bolo tie, either.
I'm sure it's been pointed out in the first eight pages, but there's no way that you find it easy to tie a tie but don't want to. Those two statements are at odds with one another.

If this is true, why don't you? What logical sane reason would make you go 'yeah, even though it takes 30 seconds and looks a whole hell of a lot better, I'd rather spend extra time and money to find a crappy clip on.'

It can take a little practice to learn, but it's like riding a bike. You don't forget it once you do. Nor do you ever say, 'well I got this, now let's look at my options in clip on!'

Make a snowman, tie his scarf, then stick his carrot nose on. I've never had a tough time with a figure 8 after that little rhyme.

Personally, ironing is the one domestic chore that absolutely hate. I'll do it for an emergency situation, uusually a garment that just wont behave, but I hate it and will avoid it whenever possible. Dry cleaning for the dress shirts, a fluff type cycle in the dryer (pro tip: dryer with heat plus a damp rag and an article of clothing fluffs/straightens quite nicely for a lot of fabrics. And if course they have fancy steam dryers now if you have the cash.) for fabrics that will allow it, which are most others. Which is weird cause as far as guys go I'm pretty domestic. Keep a very tidy house, am a better than average cook for either sex. But ironing pisses me off. Not sure why.

No such thing as a good clip on tie. Get your man card, be a man and just learn how to do it.

I love ironing, when I was in I never spit polished my boots, always traded for ironing duty. Iron, shirts, wet towel, spray starch and my discman good evening.

Sliver could have learned to tie 20 different types of tie knots in the time it has taken him to post in this thread.

Does your wife wear clip on earrings too?

I know how to tie a tie. I just don't want to. I've said that like 10 times.
