Tragic is too small of a word to use in terms of the death of a innocent child in a violent crime. But there are no other words that quite fit.

Someone will tell you that life isn't fair, or that life is cruel and in this case it is.

there's no pit deep enough or no hellfire hot enough for those who bring harm to children.

We have to remember that these deaths reach far beyond the victims, to the parents who lost their child due to what is probably a split second decision by a angry, or greedy or disturbed individual. There is no comfort to be gained anywhere in this story by anyone connected to the victims, you can only hope that they find peace someday.

RIP little guy.

Lots of business dealings go bad.

Lots of businesses end up in bankruptcy.

How many times do you hear that people who are involved with such businesses get killed?

Unless there was more to the "business dealings gone bad" which we don't entirely know at this point, to point the fingers at the parents leaving their child with the grandparents is just plain mean.
Take the bad business dealings, the bankruptcy and share holders losing their shirts and the day of a Estate Sale where hundreds of people are transitting your house... probably isnt the best day for a sleep over.

And do you go out of your way to put your 5 year old child in an environment with boxes and crap all over the place? I sure the hell dont and I can tell you, if theres boxes and such, my 5 year old is trying to climb all over them and see whats going on... Not sitting in the corner, staying quiet while we assess the days events...

Its not the childs job to "cope" its our job as parents to make resonable decisions that best protect our childrens safety.

No one does... But if the Grandparents had any idea that they had people gunning for them in any sort of way for financial retribution, then perhaps they are somewhat at fault for allowing the Grandson over. Purely speculation on my part. But possible.

For the guy who got mad at people for being slightly off topic and ruining the pure news source that you thought this thread should be, you're really into speculative fiction.

This thread is a ####ing mess. Should be a string of RIPs and pretty much nothing else. Take your baseless speculation elsewhere.

You sound like an idiot. They haven't even found these poor people and now you're blaming the victims. Drop it, let it go, or hey, even bring it up in the future if you want to continue... do whatever, but right now you sound like a heartless, halfwitted jackass.

Ohhh... IC... So its ok when others do it. But when I actually have points to discuss about the actual case, not some random stuff about some person I seen on some random highway... Its garbage... Very nice..

Hey, feel terrible for the family and for little Nathan and I heop he does rest in peace.

That being said, could this have been avoided all together? Not an unreasonable question, is it?

Actually, you're discussing your own invented fiction based on the real case, not the case itself.

Probably a lot better to do as others say and move on. You're just upsetting people and being really insensitive.

Move.
On.

I'm going to agree, it does not matter in this case if it could or could not have been avoided. A precious childs life is lost to a completely coward act.

Nope... im not being insensitive. I have followed this case from the very beginning and find it absolutely terrible what happened.

I have questions. Thats not wrong.

You guys trying to gang up on me on a web forum and trying to shut me up isnt going to stop me from wondering how this all came about in the first place.

Deal with it, block me. You move on.

You don't have questions. You have assumptions that you are phrasing as if they were questions. And your assumptions are classic, callous, stupid, insensitive victim blaming. Don't sit there and act butthurt because people are calling you out on the verbal diarrhea.
