I dont know of anybody who is checking twitter at all daily or ever, facebook yea but twitter nobody has admitted to using!!

Im not denying it's use in the spread of information, but surely the media recognises that the general public aren't sold on it like facebook.

You sure like to ramp up the melodrama btw. How hollywood of you.
When I see some bruised legged, muffin topped, skank schlepping around a Walmart in frikkin pajama bottoms with her Affliction clad, white Oakley sunglass on he back of the head boyfriend in a Walmart, I feel equal rage.

The rage quadruples when I see them climb in a jacked up Dodge Ram with a giant DC shoe decal on the back window. Who likes a shoe brand THAT MUCH?

All the diving in the FIFA World Cup RMGM. Jesus Christ, I thought it was bad in hockey. But this year is at an entirely new level of disgracefulness. I watched the Costa Rica vs Greece game yesterday and it was easily the most diving I have ever seen in any sporting event in my 29 years of watching sports. The tinniest of contact means guys doing barrel rolls, holding their head like they have been beaten with a bat. In particular, the Costa Rican player Joel Campbell is now my most hated player after watching his antics. Disgraceful. At one point in the match yesterday, CR had 3 players on the ground, all wiggling around in ''pain'', when they were already a man down due to red card violation. But yet when contact is made when they have a good scoring chance, magically the player is able to stand up right away and continue on with his attack.

But for me what makes it even worse, is that at least in hockey you get called out for it. Even the announcers will call a dive when they see it. The futball announcers act like it's part of the game. Like this is normal behaviour. FFS, call it when you see someone flopping around on the field. The media should be up in arms over the amount of diving going on.

I respect futball players for how intense the game is for them, and how much stamina is takes to perform for that long. But from what I've seen, they are easily the biggest pussies in all of sports.

See I have no respect for them. The diving is ingrained in the sport, and is accepted and in some cases revered.

I find it an abomination to honest sport.

I can agree with you that soccer players are pussies, and most likely the biggest pussies in sport.

If cards and penalties weren't as crucial of an advantage to football as they are then diving probably wouldn't be, but it's the game.

If you can't look past the diving and see the true beauty, maybe it isn't your jam. Can see why some can't get past it tho.

It's like they all play for the Canucks.

if CPS really wants to make Deerfoot safer, get more cars patrolling. Photo radar is just a cash cow. Everyone knows you can brake when you see the inconspicuous vehicle parked on the shoulder.

Police said a number of close calls were witnessed by officers during the blitz.
Well no s##t. People slamming on their brakes to avoid a ticket is gonna cause some mayhem.

The most common contributing factors for collisions in this area are speeding, following too close, and unsafe lane changes.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like people drive well in that area to begin with, but having a speed trap there sure wouldn't help the situation.
