I wear the same thing on a plane as I do every day I'm not on a plane. Jeans and a button up. Not sure what's so uncomfortable about that.

A sweet gal like you just needs to be loved. Do you have e-mail by any chance? I don't text.

Lol, expecting grown adults to forgo wearing kmart-special sweatpants, and put on some jeans instead, for a couple of hours is now considered elitist? I guess you can call me the King of England then. The whole "comfy" movement could use a nice elitist kick in the ass.
You sure like to ramp up the melodrama btw. How hollywood of you.

LOL @ the sweat pant hate.
Everytime I've ever flown, I've got with sweats pants and t-shirt. I lounge in the house wearing them why not the airplane.

When they start giving me the leg room and wide seats you see on the planes on Mad Men, then I'll start dressing like they do when they fly on Mad Men.
That said, I don't wear sweatpants in public at all.
I've seen people board planes wearing pajamas.

When did they stop gluing the bag to the bottom of the cereal box?
Bad enough the easy to open wax paper bag liners are gone, now this (loose) space age plastic bag flies right out of the box!!

I lounge around the house wearing underpants and a bathrobe, why not an airplane?

Because your house isn't in public. If you lounged around the house in the nude would it make it acceptable to go nude on a plane?
I don't own sweatpants, so I don't get the fascination with wearing them in public.

Because wearing sweatpants and being naked are the same thing. Strong logic. Do you get upset at girls wearing yoga pants on the airplane? In all honesty who cares?

So a public space and a private space are the same thing? Strong logic.

When I was a kid, I used to hate the cereals that had the bag glued into the box because it was harder to find the toy inside. When the bag wasn't glued in, you could turn it upside down and open the bottom to get to the toy right away.

Celebrated Square Root Day
|
This quote from a draft thread in FOI should just be posted en masse all over that forum these past few days. I know I harped on this the other day, but it's so annoying.
Quote:
I don't know much about this pick, however, it is amazing to see all these posters calling it "Dissapointing"
I would bet that 99% of these posters have never watched a single game when Dougherty McKeown were playing.[/
|
To me, the guys asking legitimate questions in a "I don't know much about this guy so please enlighten me" or just expressing their limited knowledge of a player and presenting it as just that; An opinion based on what little they've seen/heard about the player, is fine.
What gets me is the tone of a lot of those guys that make it sound like they run a scouting organization and the stupid NHL scouts deviated from their much better draft plan. Like seriously, some of the stuff you read there is so arrogant, shortsighted and worst of all, based in next to no actual scouting or knowledge.
Oh you can't believe we didn't take that player over the other guy based on "everything you've seen"? So how many scouting trips did you make this year? Which cities did you go to again? How much time did you spend breaking down the game of the two players you're so certain about?
Oh what's that, 7:58 of youtube highlights is where you've decided you know more than the Flames? Excellent, I'm going to the Flames office tomorrow to show them how they can save millions on scouting within the organization, by hiring know-it-all CP posters.

And just to add to that, do you notice how all of CP's best hockey posters who always have great insight and opinions on the Flames and the NHL are relatively quiet and short on opinions when it comes to draft discussion? Take a hint, everyone else.

WGMGs is these girls on tinder who are in a group of 3-4 girls in all their pictures. How am I supposed to know which one you are?
Also, today a friend of mine posted on facebook: "Gas is $1.22/L in Lethbridge. WTF?" As if anyone in Alberta should be complaining about gas prices, ever. I'm paying $2.28/L at the moment which at the current exchange rate is $2.13 CDN. "Oh but I remember when it was $0.75/L" well shut up. The good ol days are never coming back.

WGMG right now is twitter, more the medias expectation that everyone uses it all the time.
I dont know of anybody who is checking twitter at all daily or ever, facebook yea but twitter nobody has admitted to using!!
Im not denying it's use in the spread of information, but surely the media recognises that the general public aren't sold on it like facebook.

I don't understand people go on Facebook everyday, so I share your dismay.
