Bollig - ?????? - McGrattan

That's a nasty 4th line that can be centered by Bouma, Knight, Arnold....whoever.

Haha, between Bollig, Mcgratton, Westgarth, Kanzig, Smith we will be the toughest team in the league. What a joke of a trade.

Exactly. Not to mention playing on the Chicago Blackhawks. If he's good enough to play with the Hawks 82 games, I'm sure he'll be fine here.

Surround the kids with beef, right?

Would not be surprised if Kanzig made the team too.

Old time hockey!

In all honesty... wft... But I can understand the logic.

Oh I don't mind it at all. Just had the Russel Peters bit running through my head
when the trade was announced. That's a whole bunch of pain coming at the opposition.

I thought he was a centre?

I think having a 4th line with him, McGrattan another another beast who can scrap is a really smart move, especially if Bennett comes into the team this year and a couple of the AHL kids break through

Because a late 3rd round pick has about a 10% chance of becoming a real NHLer?

Johnny Gaudreau just grew two more inches and gained another 20 pounds.

Really a long shot pick is likely never to play in the NHL and this guy played all 82 games on one of the best rosters in the league. Hard not to like this deal unless you were hoping for lightning to strike at #83.

A cat could center that line and still be effective at what the intent is.

Will play more NHL games then 95% of the guys picked after him. No big deal.

I'd like to see us getting bigger/tougher on the first 2 lines, not keep adding more goons on the bottom end. I'd rather we just drafted a prospect.
